The Sainte Chapelle is also a short distance away, along with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The home itself is elegantly decorated and the open-plan living space sleeps two guests at full capacity and both bedrooms have marble en-suites. This place is a perfect option for a vacation with family or friends.

Situated on Île Saint-Louis, this apartment is a striking distance from Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, and the Seine. We love how much sunlight there is here, and the contemporary decor meshes perfectly with the original character features. The kitchen is well-appointed if you fancy rustling up meals at home, both bedrooms are roomy and bright, and two bathrooms mean that nobody will have to share. Factor in the proximity to cafes, restaurants, and the neighbourhood's famous ice cream shop, and it more than ticks our boxes.

Known for its vital role in the French Revolution, Bastille and the surrounding neighbourhood has plenty to offer, even if you're not keen on history. From lively jazz bars and the Opéra Bastille to bohemian boutiques and Marché d'Aligre, this pocket of Paris has something for everyone. And it's where you'll find this stylish apartment, just a five-minute walk from the July Column, twenty from Notre Dame and surrounded by a slew of chic cafes, trendy wine bars and delicious eateries.

Come home after a long day and sprawl out on the sofa, nibbling on French cheese, fresh-baked bread and sharing a bottle of wine picked up from the market. We love the exposed brick in the kitchen, the skylights in the bathroom and the soft, modern furnishings. The style is minimal, the living space bright, and the bedroom super comfortable. This flat may be on the smaller side, but we think it'll do nicely for solo travellers and couples wanting to stay in the centre of the action.

Set in one of our favourite parts of the city, just on the banks of the river, it's tucked away in such a peaceful little courtyard you may find it hard to comprehend you're in the centre of Paris. This ground-floor apartment has been refurbished recently and mixes period features like high ceilings with modern minimalism, a sleek white kitchen and a touch of industrial styling. Comfortable, bright and surprisingly private, it's a real retreat away from the bustling city streets.

Step outside each morning and grab a coffee and croissant as you stroll along the Seine – it's just a six-minute walk to take in the impressive view of Notre Dame, currently being restored. Close to the buzzing Latin Quarter, there's no shortage of great places to eat, drink and shop, and most of the city's big attractions are within walking distance.

Located in one of Paris' oldest neighbourhoods, Monnaie, this traditional apartment promises an authentic stay in the historic city of lights. Located on the left bank of the Seine, it's a haven away from the hustle and bustle and yet many of the top cultural landmarks are all easily reachable on foot. 

We particularly love the original wood beams, sloped ceilings and Juliet balconies that hark out Parisian design and flair. The centrepiece of this characterful home is the grand piano at the far end of the open-plan living area – besides it, you'll find a lovely spot for a sing-along or a quiet moment's downtime while gazing out across the rooftops and soaking up the calm atmosphere. Gather the group for breakfast in the elegant dining area, with croissants and cups of coffee being passed around. There's even a light-filled desk space upstairs and a cosy reading nook for those who are keeping one eye on work or who are after a gentler start to the day. 

When you're ready and raring to hit the streets, the surrounding neighbourhood is an artsy area, loved by locals and tourists alike for its galleries, museums and upscale jewellery stores. When you've worked up an appetite, you'll find many of the restaurants and bars offer gorgeous river views for special outdoor meals together. 

For those looking to see the cultural attractions, we recommend starting with a stroll through the Luxembourg Gardens, a nine-minute walk away, and a visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral, ten minutes from your building (on foot). Outside, you have two roomy terraces to choose from (one for breakfasts, another for evening cocktails as the sunsets over the rooftops), and there's even a working fireplace for those chilly winter nights. But there's plenty of modern conveniences too, including skylights, a maid service, speakers in every room and a luxe master bathroom with gold finishes. Situated on the Île Saint-Louis – an island in the heart of the Seine considered one of Paris' most desirable postcodes – you're just an eight-minute walk from Notre Dame Cathedral. Utterly romantic and endlessly charming, it's not uncommon to hear accordion music drifting down the streets lined with shops, cafes, restaurants and crêperies. You couldn't hope for a more authentic spot to experience the magic of Paris.

You're only a short walk away from the banks of the Seine as well as Notre Dame on the Île de la Cité.

A home for those who prioritise decluttered spaces and a great postcode, Redberry is located in the historic Latin Quarter, just a 5-minute walk from Île de la Cité and Notre-Dame. While its minimal look will probably not feature on interior design magazine covers, we valued its bright spaces and coherent aesthetic. A couple will find it's a home that's perfectly equipped as a comfortable base in the city.

In a typically Haussmannian part of town, a family who want to experience the tourist side of Paris whilst still living in an authentic area have found the right spot. Close to the boulevard Saint-Michel and its attractions, the location is ideal for discovering the centre of Paris on foot. Quiet & bright, with Scandinavian inspired interiors the space is tranquil and modern. Perfect for the boxset lovers, each room is equipped with a TV as well as a respective bathroom. If you're looking for a sleek, recently renovated base, then look no further. 



Fresh Start

Nestled in the 6th arrondissement, this studio provides a calm sanctuary in the heart of the city. Outside, it’s less than a ten-minute stroll to Notre Dame, and you’ll find cafes, restaurants and shops all within easy reach. There is no private parking available here, but you’ll find great public transport links and your host can arrange a private chauffeur service. Inside, the bedroom and living room are separated by a glass wall – a clever design feature that ensures you have plenty of space to switch off and unwind. At full occupancy one guest will be sleeping on the sofa bed, but this is a handy option for families travelling with children. 

Art of Joy 

Experience Paris like a true Parisian in this authentic French apartment set on the beautiful island of Ile Saint-Louis in the tranquil eastern end of Paris. 
Filled with a mix of contemporary and antique pieces carefully selected chosen by the owner, this home strikes the right balance between classy but cosy interiors. The vibrant and eclectic furnishings are even further complemented by unique pieces of artwork in true Parisian style. We particularly love the grand table dining area, which hones in on the importance of eating well and eating together when embracing the French culture. Pick up a good bottle of French wine from the local wine cellar, alongside other necessities from the butchers, bakery and fromagerie – all located within five minutes walking distance on the island. Once the restaurants clear out at night, the streets of this little village in the heart of Paris, fall quiet and a late stroll down the main street gives the feeling of having stepped into an Impressionist painting. Cross over the river Seine in either direction and you'll find yourself, once again, in more picture-perfect scenes reflective of Paris' romantic reputation. 

Midnight Strolls

Awash with colour, this cosy Parisian apartment certainly packs a punch. Perfect for a family or group of friends on a French getaway, it’s worth noting that two people will sleep on the sofa bed here. And, while there’s a lift to reach this third-floor home, it only carries one person at a time – so if you’re able, you may prefer to use the stairs. There’s no air conditioning here, but with Luxembourg Gardens and the River Seine within easy reach, a stroll in the fresh air to take in the sights is likely to be high on your to-do list.

Not to mention the wealth of shopping boutiques and world-class bars and restaurants of Le Marais also within close walking distance. From here, it's safe to say you'll have Paris at your fingertips.

Sitting right next to the iconic Polidor restaurant – once a haunt for Paul Verlaine, Eugène Ionesco and featured in Woody Allen’s ‘Midnight in Paris’ – this stylish apartment is surrounded by illustrious Parisian history.

Though its locale dazzles with shadows of the past, this home’s interior is nothing but contemporary cool. From its black leather sofa and monochromatic palette to its stylish photographic art prints and pared-back decor, this pad mixes modern design with its period French doors, Juliet balconies and wood floors to create a perfect blend of old meets new. 

We love the separate dining nook that calls for mornings over fresh coffee and croissants and sophisticated evenings over locally bought cheese and wine. The elegant white bedroom, meanwhile, feels perfectly Parisian with its city-inspired wall art and its French doors giving way to yet another set of romantic Juliet balconies. 

When you’re not sitting pretty in your sleek pad, go out and explore the many sights within easy reach. The beautifully manicured Luxembourg Gardens are a three-minute walk away, the historic Latin Quarter is a seven-minute stroll and the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral is thirteen minutes away on foot.

Colourful and cosy, this compact apartment could not be better located. It's situated in the vibrant Saint-Germain district, just a stone's throw from Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Seine. The kitchen isn't the biggest, but you'll find plenty of cafes, bistros, and brasseries in the local area where you can whet your appetite. You'll find two comfortable bedrooms here, including one with an en-suite, as well as a sofa bed for guests five and six. Daily cleaning is also included – that's all our boxes ticked.

This tranquil and sunny apartment in Île Saint-Louis benefits from having views over the Seine and Rive Gauche. Not only is it located on one of Paris’ top five best streets, but it’s also ideal for sightseeing on foot—the Notre Dame and the Marais are within a ten minute mosey, while a walk to the Latin Quarter will take you just under twenty minutes. Inside, the mix-match antique furniture looks effortlessly curated and we loved the collection of exotic figurines and masks; we could have spent hours poring over each artefact. After the great location, our favourite feature is the vast amount of sunlight that floods into every room, making this home the ultimate spirit lifter. Pull open the windows and watch riverboats cruise by as you consider extending your stay just that little bit longer. 

Island Iconica

Immerse yourself in the bohemian magic of the Latin Quarter, the vibrant energy of the Sorbonne, and the iconic beauty of the majestic Notre Dame cathedral – all situated within short walking distance from this bright and cosy apartment. This is an ideal pad for a romantic getaway or a base for a small family - and you can bring your four-legged friend along too. 

Enter to be welcomed by a light-filled living room, with a comfy sofa and plenty of room for enjoying snuggly evenings of movies and wine. You can also rustle up a quick and delicious supper and share it at the dining table – why not turn it into a candlelit soirée?

It may not be as iconic as its neighbour but it’s just as beautiful – and you'll be treated to panoramas of the gothic architecture from the living room windows. View aside, we love the space on offer here, even if the second bedroom is a tad snug and two guests will sleep on a sofa bed. The contemporary finishes are a nice touch, too. There's a soaker bath, a sleek kitchen, and even air conditioning – no wonder it caught our eye.

Sanctuary of Bells

Launch-pad, spring-board – whatever you want to call it, this apartment takes convenience to another level. For those looking to see more than the usual Parisian attractions, this location is perfectly suited. Walk to the idyllic Luxembourg Gardens in just two minutes, saunter to the Notre Dame in sixteen minutes, and catch a show in the Odeon Theatre right around the corner. Inside, the bright and airy living space is the ideal backdrop for a group of friends or family spending the weekend wandering the City of Lights. Enjoy breakfast together around the sleek dining table, sinking into stylish Eames-style chairs or spend an extra hour in bed – the rustic exposed brick walls make for a cosy spot to get your head down. Plus each bedroom comes accompanied by a TV and a marble-clad en-suite, so there's plenty of privacy here too.

In vibrant Saint-Germain, this serviced apartment is a perfect fit for a fuss-free stay. For starters, the location is excellent. This neighbourhood has something for everyone – independent shops, gourmet eateries, postcard-pretty sidewalk cafes. It's also a short walk from some of the city's most famous landmarks, including the Louvre and Notre Dame. Though it's not the biggest – especially when the sofa bed is in use – the design perfectly blends contemporary with charm. We love the green accents and the characterful wooden beams. Daily maid service is also a huge perk – no wonder it caught our eye.

So It Goes

Nestled in the historic Latin Quarter, this home is excellently located for exploring. Walk five minutes in one direction and you'll reach the spires of Notre Dame, while nine minutes the opposite way lies the leafy Luxembourg Gardens. Charming bookstores, local eateries and cosy cafes abound in this neighbourhood, so if living like a true Parisian is what you're after, you can't go wrong with this postcode. Inside, it's minimally decorated with Scandinavian-inspired pieces – think clean, uncluttered living spaces and classic, contemporary design. We adored the large windows and their quintessential Juliet balconies – although there's nowhere to sit on them, you can still throw open the French doors and watch the city pass by on the streets below. The kitchen is a little tiny – we think it's better suited towards light meals and smaller bites – and there's only one bathroom, but otherwise, this fantastically-placed pad is a great option for small groups or families wanting a typical Paris getaway.

The Two Stars

Whether you’re visiting Paris for business or leisure, this charming apartment on the Left Bank promises a serene stay. Perfect for a couple or a solo traveller, those who love to relax by getting lost in a story will adore the book-lined shelves at this home. But if you’re here for some sightseeing in the City of Light, you’ll find both Paris’ oldest cafe, Le Procope, and Luxembourg Gardens within walking distance. Keen to head further afield? Hop on the metro at Mabillon or Saint-Germain-des-Prés for more effortless exploration.

It’s just a three-minute walk to the Panthéon and Luxembourg Garden, yet is tucked away on a quiet residential street. Staying here, you get a taste of the Paris of old, with its 4-metre-high ceilings, marble fireplace, and carved wooden doors. Ornate features include magnificent artwork and a quartz stone kitchen. This home offers the charm of the past combined with modern comfort – what more could you wish for?

Situated on the little island between Le Marais and Notre Dame de Paris, this home is far away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, but still accessible enough, giving you the best of both worlds. It also means that the immediate area – known for having been an aristocratic area in the 19th century – has a particular small-town charm that makes sitting outside a cafe with a cappuccino feel special. Stroll the avenues looking for the perfect spot for a holiday selfie before grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many authentic eateries of the neighbourhood. 
 
After a day of sightseeing, eating to your heart's content, and sipping one too many coffees – if there is such a thing – head back and enjoy the eclectic comfort the home has to offer. Designed by a French architect, it has all the flourishes of Parisian living, but with an efficient floor plan and vibrancy that’s hard to rival.

Small but stylish, this apartment is a great option for short stays. You'll be based in the vibrant Latin Quarter, where bookshops, cafes, and bistros are all within easy reach. For sightseeing, Notre Dame is a short walk away, though there's a metro nearby to explore further afield. The apartment is compact yet comfortable. Guests three and four will sleep on a sofa bed, but as the only bathroom is en-suite and the whole place is pretty pocket-sized, we think it's best for two.

What this studio apartment lacks in space, it makes up for in style. Wooden beams on the ceilings, exposed stone walls, a curvy red headboard – the design doesn't play it safe. The kitchen is small, sure, but it's well-appointed to rustle up something easy. Even better, you'll find an array of top-notch eateries on your doorstep. Also nearby are landmarks like Notre Dame and the Louvre, independent shops like Shakespeare & Company, and a metro station for adventures further afield.
