Cafes and eateries abound in the Latin Quarter (ideal as the kitchen here is a little small and lacks a table), or you can stroll along the river towards the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and other landmarks if sightseeing tickles your fancy. This apartment’s address is great – it’s a short walk from the Musée des Arts et Métiers and the Centre Pompidou. Other places of interest within walking distance include the Louvre Museum and Palais Royal. Back at this apartment, we love the views from the open-plan living room’s balcony of the typically Parisian architecture. This room also sleeps guests three and four on a comfy sofa bed. Another bonus of staying here is there's free access to a shared gym too – this place is ideal for business and leisure travellers alike.

After shopping in Les Halles, you'll return to this historic Haussmann building, where a modern base awaits with a keyless entry code. Because guests five and six will sleep in the living area, expect a knock on the bedroom door when it's time for a shower. Both en-suites lack some privacy, which may have the others discussing plans on the Juliet balconies.

This beautiful apartment is located in Le Marais, the oldest district of Paris. It’s just down the road from the elegant Place des Vosges and a short walk from the Seine, the Notre Dame, and the Louvre. In terms of location, you couldn’t ask for more. The apartment itself is stylish and decorated with high-end furniture and chandeliers. At full occupancy, three guests will be sleeping on sofa beds in the living room, which may feel like a bit of a squeeze. Though this pad is on the smaller side, we reckon you won’t be spending much time at home with so much to see and do on your doorstep.

In the heart of Paris, off the prestigious Rue de Richelieu stands the Lordly Rams, a beautiful home ideal for any plum guest. Designed with style and sophistication, the mint colour scheme is delightful and evokes a calming atmosphere. The kitchen is very well-equipped making hosting a delight, and the dining room is the perfect place for any dinner. There is no air conditioning in this home so it will be hot during the summer. Aside from this, we really can't think of many low points. A lovely base for a comfortable trip. 

The Lordly Rams

Paris’ 1st arrondissement isn’t number one for just any old reason. Home to the Louvre/Palais-Royal neighbourhood, this is a historically lavish part of the city where you'll find some of the biggest attractions. A four-minute walk from the Palais du Louvre itself, this apartment certainly continues on a majestic theme. Through a courtyard full of lush plants, the entrance to this building has the famous cream-coloured walls of Parisian homes that you’d expect. However, the interiors tell another story. A rich orange sofa welcomes you to the modern living space – with exposed brickwork, a glossy tiled breakfast bar, and a full-length glass partition wall to break up the bedrooms. While frosted windows save your modesty, there’s nothing modest about the decor of the rooms. Find striking floral feature walls, jazzy cushions, gilded mirror frames, and a freestanding tub in one of the en-suites – it’s bourgeois-bohemian at its best. Take a crisp, morning walk to the Jardin des Tuileries after your café au lait (it’s only ten minutes from home). The Louvre–Rivoli metro is just a two-minute walk, so you can also head out to discover any areas of Paris. You might find it hard to leave your surrounding area though – with boulangeries, restaurants, and bars aplenty, you can dine out or feast like a king in your sumptuous apartment.

With an address on Place de la République, you’ll find an array of attractions within walking distance of this apartment including the Musée National Picasso-Paris. The Centre Pompidou and vibrant Le Marais are also reachable on foot with its restaurants, bars and boutiques. Housed in a Haussmannian gem, this home has an elegant balcony overlooking the esplanade. There’s a grand open-plan living area which sleeps guests eleven and twelve on a sofa bed – there’s a well-appointed kitchen here too. We also love the main bedroom’s freestanding bathtub and a couple of the bedrooms have a desk if you need to work while away. This place offers a chance to stay amid Paris’s rich historic tapestry.

Admire the views over Place du Bourg Tibourg from this home’s balcony – we could spend hours watching the world go by here. There are more vistas to enjoy from the large living space, and check out that vibrant feature wall in the dining area. We love the bedrooms too with their floating beds. With such a fantastic location, you may hear a bit of street noise, but there’s so much to explore on your doorstep here. The apartment is located in the 4th arrondissement, just a short stroll from Le Marais, the River Seine and the Latin Quarter.

Sure, there’s no air conditioning here, but throw open the windows and you’ll soon feel a welcome breeze. It’s also worth noting that the third bedroom is just off the living room, so privacy may be somewhat lacking – although it can be closed off with a sliding door.
