Enjoy a central stay in the City of Love at this small but perfectly-formed home. Based in the heart of Paris, it makes sense that this home is fashionable and stylish, with contemporary artwork, modern light fittings and a neutral colour scheme that runs throughout. Although there’s no kitchen, you won’t want to spend time cooking once you discover how many fantastic restaurants and lovely cafes surround you here. We love the dedicated desk area that’s ideal for working on the go, as well as the bathtub that’s great for soaking in with a glass of wine in the evenings.

When you head out, you’ll find you’re just a stone’s throw from Moulin Rouge, as well as close to lots of museums and galleries for you to wander.

A six-minute stroll will take you to one of Paris's hottest and trendiest neighbourhoods, South Pigalle or SoPi, as it's also known. Here, you'll find authentic brasseries and stylish cocktail bars. It's the same walking distance to Rue des Martyrs, home to an array of supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants. Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre and the Palais Garnier opera house are all under a twenty-minute walk. In fact, getting around is easy as this home is a few minutes walk from three different metro stations. 

This apartment, housed in a stunning Haussmann building, is ideal for a business trip or for a group of friends and family who want to be within walking distance of some of the city's much-loved sights. Inside, we love the beautiful views over the neighbourhood – open up the doors to the Juliet balcony and let the sounds of the City of Light in. This elegant home has lovely wood parquet floors and exposed stone walls. Whip up some French toast in the kitchen with its marble finishes to enjoy at your dining table with some coffee, and then plan your day from the comfy sofa in the bright living space.

This stylish French apartment, centrally located in the 9th Arrondissement district, is as quintessentially Parisian as it gets. But don't be fooled by its 19th Century Haussmann appearance. Inside, the beautiful lofty ceilings, exposed stone walls, and balconies remain, while everywhere else has been entirely reimagined for seamless, modern living. You'll love the design touches here – with marble-clad finishes and statement lighting turning up the luxe factor. In the bedroom, you'll find a comfy bed clad out in crisp white linens, and balcony doors opening out to reveal the charming rooftops beyond. 

When the bustle of the Parisian streets below finally calls you down, mosey around the nearby market street (two minutes on foot) for all the baguettes and fromage you could muster, or take a rummage in the antique stores and independent boutiques on your doorstep. Those drawn to the evening excitement should head for the Pigalle district (three minutes on foot), where you'll find authentic cafes, hipster dives, dance clubs and everything else in between. Or for something a touch more refined, a visit to the city's original and most famous opera house, Palais Garnier (nineteen minutes on foot), should do rather nicely. And when it's time to unearth other corners of this city, just hop on the metro (three minutes on foot), and away you go.

South Pigalle is a lively and artsy enclave nestled between Opéra and Montmartre. With metro stations nearby and plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, it makes an excellent base for both seasoned visitors and first-time tourists. The apartment itself is also a chic place to call home. We love the amount of light in the living area, as well as the character features like arched windows and herringbone floors. Just keep in mind that two guests will sleep on a sofa bed – a worthwhile compromise, given the central location.

On the eighth floor of a hotel building, this apartment is high up enough to be out of earshot of the exciting neighbourhood below, as well as high enough to see jaw-dropping views. From your private balcony and huge windows, admire sweeping 270-degree views of the city, including the Eiffel Tower itself. There’s such a vintage Pigalle feel to this home, with mid-century furnishings and a sexy vibe with black decor. Quirky artwork such as a lobster’s skeleton set in glass might sound odd, but everything works in harmony here to create the epitome of bohemian, sophisticated, Parisian chic. After a pain aux raisins and a café au lait, head ten minutes to the Sacré-Cœur, via winding slopes of Montmartre's uniquely artsy streets. Later (after a few cocktails), check out a gig at La Cigale or a show at the Moulin Rouge just two minutes away. And with metro stops all along the street (the closest being a one-minute walk), you don’t even need to stay local. Wherever you end up, we cannot stress the importance of returning home to your balcony at night – the glittering sight of Paris after dark with a glass of champagne in hand is completely unforgettable.

Furnished with stylish, contemporary pieces and a lot of cleverly built-in storage, it's as practical as it is attractive. You'll have a small but perfectly formed kitchen, with everything you'll need for cooking at home, a breakfast bar and a cosy sofa. A room divider separates this living space from the bedroom and there's a desk so you can get some work done in comfort. And we love the marble bathroom with its big Italian shower.
