You’ll be wowed by the gallery-style collection of art and photographs on display, especially the mosaic of the homeowner's photography that takes centre stage in the dining room. From the sleek metallic kitchen (stocked with an entire drawer dedicated to tea and coffee) to the living room’s chic desk space and the luminous bedroom, there’s a feeling of both comfort and extraordinary style in equal, stunning measure. Our favourite feature, without a doubt, is the private leafy terrace. As it’s heated, you can spend peaceful mornings here with a good book and a cup of coffee or evening drinks as the sun sets, at any time of year. While we wouldn’t blame you for wanting to stay holed up in your arty haven, go out and explore the nearby sights – of which there are many. Explore the trendy Marais district with its vintage shops and cute cafes (a twenty-minute walk), enjoy a picnic in elegant Place des Vosges (a thirteen-minute walk) or discover the quiet beauty of Père Lachaise Cemetery, a twenty-minute stroll from your door.

In the Bastille neighbourhood of Paris, this duplex provides a chic and elegant place to call home. Place de la Bastille is a fifteen-minute walk away and the nearest metro station is five minutes away at Ledru Rollin, whisking you to sights like The Louvre and Notre Dame in around fifteen minutes. Entering the apartment you instantly feel a sense of creativity and style. Striking sculptures stand proud in the living room and splashes of modern art worthy of a place in the Louvre liven up white walls. Big French windows fill the room with light and a bookcase stuffed with paperbacks and curios from around the world adds a homely touch. The kitchen is tucked away, and there’s a vaguely pastoral feeling to the green and honey walls. Spacious double beds are crowned with painted headboards in both bedrooms, so there’s no need to draw straws for the master.

Now, let’s start from the top – truly at the top. Your home sits on the seventh floor of a traditional Parisian block, from which the views are simply unmatched. The triple set of windows in the cosy lounge frames the most spectacular scene of rooftops, spires, chimneys, and the Sacré-Cœur in the distance.

If you manage to drag yourself away from the windowsill, the rest of the apartment is another delightful sight. Modern, quirky, and colourful, we love the selection of framed artworks adorning the walls, with a jazzy geometric rug on the floor. There’s a certain airy and fresh atmosphere with white walls and understated furniture, which in our eyes is perfect for one thing – ensuring that the awe-inspiring sunsets over the city are the main event.

This stylish Parisian apartment wouldn’t be out of place in Brooklyn with its exposed brick walls, cool contemporary furnishings and artsy bedrooms. Located in the city’s historic Bastille neighbourhood, you’re in an ideal position to soak up the best of Paris’ art, culture and gastronomy while also enjoying an endlessly comfortable stay. 

Relax and unwind in the open-plan living area where a cosy sofa invites you to kick back with a glass of French wine after a day of sightseeing and a long dining table beckons celebratory homemade feats. 

The three bedrooms are calm and quiet with two of them facing a courtyard. We’re particularly fond of the colourful second bedroom with its graffiti mural and large windows letting plenty of sunlight in, as well as the parquet floors that feature throughout. Situated in the hip 11th Arrondissement, this home, located in a former convent, has a great setting. With its array of bars, artisan coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques, Le Marais is nearby, as is Place de la Bastille (around a ten-minute ride).

Back at this home, relax with a glass of Champagne on the private terrace with its pretty oleander shrubs. Then, head back through the French doors and whip up some ratatouille with goat's cheese in the modern kitchen if you don't fancy eating out. This home also comes with secure, underground parking, which is a real plus in this city location. We think this apartment is perfect for a couple or solo traveller looking for a fashionable address.

You’ve got plenty of bakeries, shops and restaurants on your front step, while a ten-minute walk will take you to the historic Place de la Bastille. Elsewhere, Notre Dame Cathedral is a thirty-minute stroll away, as is the Marais district with its hip vintage shops and cultural Centre Pompidou.

Inside you’ll find a large open-plan living space - including a home cinema set up - and a peaceful second sitting room. You’ll be staying in the heart of the 11th arrondissement and not far from Le Marais - an area known for its gourmet restaurants and age-old cafés and bars. A word of warning - the apartment is located on the fourth floor with no elevator so be prepared for some lugging of suitcases.

This wonderfully decorated apartment located in the famous city of Paris awaits you. The cosy living room is lit up by the large windows, allowing an ample amount of natural daylight to pour into the space, as well as in the kitchen – brilliant for when you want to cook up a delicious homemade meal during the day. The brick feature wall and black kitchen give the home a lovely rustic feel, making time spent in this space a delight. Tuck into tasty plates of food at the glass dining table with a movie on the TV, followed by snuggling up on the sofa to read a brand new book. 

The bedroom also receives plenty of daylight, meaning you can wake up to the radiant sun every day during your stay, accompanied by the unique golden mirror feature and contemporary decor. After a long day of exploring the city, unwind in the sumptuous bathtub – we recommend a luxurious bubble bath.

The destination is equally beautiful, with Parisian streets on your doorstep, offering you a plethora of local hidden gems as well as eateries that serve French specialties. You'll also find lovely cafes and stylish bars to relax in as you sip on a refreshing drink. If you wish to travel further into Paris, public transport options are nearby to take you all over the city.

A five-minute stroll from Bastille's metro station, this split-level apartment makes exploring Paris a breeze. Prefer to keep it local? You'll find an array of restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops in the neighbourhood, too. The apartment itself is an absolute gem, filled with Parisian charm. As it's spread across two levels, the relaxing space is ample, and the kitchen is well-stocked to whip up home-cooked French feasts. Just note that it's on the third floor of a building without a lift, so a few flights of stairs are required. But, if you ask us, the effort is more than worth it.

Located in the more alternative Bastille quarter, this carefully curated home will transport you back to a bygone era with its classical antiques, period features and traditional portraits. Overlooking a leafy square, it's an ideal tranquil spot for a couple looking for a place with an eccentric personality. The home's not short of modern amenities – quality bedding, a large smart TV and a rainfall shower are just some of the features that guarantee a stay with the utmost comfort amid the trove of antique treasures. Plus, you’re just a twelve-minute walk from one of the oldest covered markets in Paris, Bastille Market, and seventeen minutes from the bustling neighbourhood of Le Marais.

Located in the heart of Bastille, with its wonderful array of bars, cafes, and boutiques, this classical Haussmann-style apartment is well situated for exploring the delights of Paris. Paris is one of those walkable cities, but should you wish to hop on the metro, Ledru-Rollin is a few steps away. The interiors are exactly what you’d hope from a Parisian pad, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. There’s a desk for remote workers and a large dining table for sharing morning pastries. Though this third-floor apartment sits higher up (there’s a lift here, don’t worry), you may still hear some street noise. 

Le Printemps

You'll find this home tucked down a quiet courtyard in buzzy Bastille. An array of cafes, bars, and restaurants are in the local area, so you'll be well-placed to discover the city's culinary scene. Even better is the metro station right down the street, though the famous July Column in Place de la Bastille is a short walk away. Two guests will sleep on a sofa bed here, but we think the living space is relatively roomy. We're fans of the quirky design, too. Just note that it's on the second floor and there isn't a lift.

Known for its vital role in the French Revolution, Bastille and the surrounding neighbourhood has plenty to offer, even if you're not keen on history. From lively jazz bars and the Opéra Bastille to bohemian boutiques and Marché d'Aligre, this pocket of Paris has something for everyone. And it's where you'll find this stylish apartment, just a five-minute walk from the July Column, twenty from Notre Dame and surrounded by a slew of chic cafes, trendy wine bars and delicious eateries.

Come home after a long day and sprawl out on the sofa, nibbling on French cheese, fresh-baked bread and sharing a bottle of wine picked up from the market. We love the exposed brick in the kitchen, the skylights in the bathroom and the soft, modern furnishings. The style is minimal, the living space bright, and the bedroom super comfortable. This flat may be on the smaller side, but we think it'll do nicely for solo travellers and couples wanting to stay in the centre of the action.

Key places of interest such as the Musée National Picasso-Paris and the Place des Vosges are also reachable on foot or a short ride from this apartment. There’s an open-plan living space here which accommodates guests three and four on a sofa bed, while the bedroom is on a mezzanine overlooking the lounge. This room has a low ceiling, so this place may not be suitable for taller guests, otherwise this is a great City of Light pied-à-terre.

We love the light-flooded, open-plan living room and kitchen, with the wooden beams adding a touch of character. It’s worth noting that two people will draw the short straw and sleep on the sofa bed in the living area at full occupancy, but it’s no real hardship in this sleek space. As an added bonus, there’s a basement games room here – just the spot for unwinding with loved ones.

Situated on Île Saint-Louis, this apartment is a striking distance from Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, and the Seine. We love how much sunlight there is here, and the contemporary decor meshes perfectly with the original character features. The kitchen is well-appointed if you fancy rustling up meals at home, both bedrooms are roomy and bright, and two bathrooms mean that nobody will have to share. Factor in the proximity to cafes, restaurants, and the neighbourhood's famous ice cream shop, and it more than ticks our boxes.

Isle of Hope

This 18th-century apartment set in the 2nd arrondissement is ticking all our boxes with its Juliet balcony windows and Rocaille-style antiques. Each of the three bedrooms is as expertly styled as the next, although if we were being picky, they feel a little short on floor space. But for such an unbeatable central location, we can forgive that. Call in on Mona Lisa at the Louvre Museum. Take a turn around the gardens of the Palais Royal. Or soak up the splendour of Notre Dame. It’s all within easy walking distance in the Montorgueil district.

Rocaille Retreat

Right in the heart of the beautiful Marais, this family home is both cosy and spacious. Set in a typical period building, it has a classic look with tall ceilings, big windows that open up completely to reveal wrought-iron rails and chic furniture with a rustic – almost farmhouse – twist. We love the natural light that floods the rooms. There's a modern kitchen and a pretty dining table if you're cooking at home but we think you'll be exploring the array of great eateries nearby most evenings. Each bedroom has a dedicated bathroom so there won't be any queueing for the shower in the mornings, and it's easy to get around the city with two metro stations around the corner. Or else head out on foot and walk to the Louvre in less than half an hour.

The Cottage

Tucked away in one of the iconic Haussmann buildings, this chic apartment is bound to impress groups seeking to sightsee. In Les Halles, you'll have the Louvre, luxury shops, and gourmet restaurants at hand. When it's time to come home, the keyless entry promises modern security and ease. Why not make plans in a bright living space over coffee and croissants? While we love the bedrooms for a good night's sleep, the reduced privacy of the en-suites might not suit everyone.

The Seine and Notre Dame Cathedral are your neighbours in this charming apartment. Set on the sought-after île-de-la-Cité, you'll be well-placed to explore on foot. Restaurants and cafes abound in the nearby Latin Quarter. Or, if seeing the sights is more your speed, you can stroll along the river towards the Louvre and Eiffel Tower. Back home, the climb to the fourth floor won't suit everyone, but we think the views overlooking the streets are worth it. The kitchen is a tad small and there isn't a dining space, but overall, it's a cosy and comfortable base for two.

We fell head over heels for this charming home before even stepping foot over the threshold. Why? You really couldn't be better placed. Just a two-minute walk from Paris' most loved art gallery: the Louvre Museum. While you're only six minutes (on foot) to the Palais Royal and a short eleven-minute stroll to Tuileries Gardens. Although the street below is fairly busy and lively, this apartment is a pocket of calm and the perfect spot to relax. We really loved the authenticity of the home – from the wooden flooring, exposed beam ceiling and elegant Parisian windows – the apartment keeps true to its roots. Enjoy your coffee and croissants around the vintage wooden dining table for two or simply spend lazy mornings sat in the sunshine with a good book. Light pours into the living space making a fresh and airy spot to unwind on the comfy sofas after an afternoon exploring the city.
