Formerly a railway company office, huge, warehouse-style windows fill the place with natural light and the double-height living room is a big open space made for socialising. A mix of pendant lamps and sparkling chandeliers blend industrial-chic with pure Parisian grandeur and we love the quirky touches like graffiti-style art on the wall and a film reel lamp on the coffee table. 

In the open space, you’ll find a dining table for the whole group, a hang-out corner with a sound system and foosball table, and a lounge lined with towering bookshelves. The kitchen is tucked beneath the mezzanine bedrooms and is super sleek in shining chrome. Situated between the eclectic 2nd and elegant 9th arrondissements, this well-connected apartment is a peaceful sanctuary above the treetops. The former jewellery factory has been expertly renovated by architect Vincent Parreira, combining flowing lines with angular geometry and paying particular attention to the use of light that streams in through walls and ceilings made entirely of glass. Mirrored surfaces, interior windows and translucent sheer fabrics illuminate and transform the space throughout the course of the day. Then comes the view. We’d argue it’s the best in the city, you can see right over Paris with glimpses of the Sacré Coeur in the distance. Settle in with a bottle of red and a platter of cheese at twilight to watch the sky swirl in violet and orange; the dome of the neighbouring Palais Garnier glowing triumphantly once night eventually falls. Should you be able to spare a minute from the spectacular panoramas, you’ll find the Opéra metro station a two-minute amble east from your doorstep and the magnificent Louvre a ten-minute walk away.

The Opera House

We can't get enough of this apartment. It's not the biggest, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in style. Both bedrooms are elegant and comfortable, while the living area makes unwinding after a busy day a breeze. There's a sofa bed for two, but we think a group of four is best if you'd like space to socialise. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for better. With Parisian landmarks like Palais Garnier and Galeries Lafayette an easy walk away and the metro moments from your door, you'll be well situated here to explore the City of Lights.

Modern Splendour

This 18th-century apartment set in the 2nd arrondissement is ticking all our boxes with its Juliet balcony windows and Rocaille-style antiques. Each of the three bedrooms is as expertly styled as the next, although if we were being picky, they feel a little short on floor space. But for such an unbeatable central location, we can forgive that. Call in on Mona Lisa at the Louvre Museum. Take a turn around the gardens of the Palais Royal. Or soak up the splendour of Notre Dame. It’s all within easy walking distance in the Montorgueil district.

Rocaille Retreat

This apartment welcomes you to a calm sanctuary in the heart of the city. Located in a traditional Haussmann building, the rooms perfectly embody classic Parisian style.
