This townhouse is a practical base for a large group. It’s located on a quiet pedestrianised avenue close to Clapham Junction station, near the hustle and bustle of lively Northcote Road. You’ll find plenty of upscale markets, independent shops, and excellent restaurants nearby, in addition to parks and playgrounds. Best of all, you’ll have your own private terrace to unwind on. The home is comfortable and warm, with a large dining table for family meals together. Two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room, and the other eleven guests will be sharing four bedrooms so it might feel a bit crowded overnight.

Located a short walk from Battersea Park, this flat is as stylish as it is comfortable. Culinary aficionados will feel right at home in the sunny farmhouse kitchen, and both bedrooms have elegant en-suite bathrooms. 

We think it's the perfect central London home for business trips or a city escape for friends and couples. There's a dedicated desk for getting work done during your stay, and you'll be able to check yourself in for extra convenience. 

The Prince of Albert

This is a neat, well designed home on the first floor of a Victorian terraced house in the heart of Battersea. The wooden floorboards across the home give the space a lovely flow, and framed prints, such as the ones from the Design museum or collected by the host in Lisbon, give the space a unique character. The simple colour palette adds to the calm vibe, and we absolutely loved the sunny terrace off the main living space. Although it’s well stocked overall, the kitchen lacks a dishwasher, and the area, while very pretty, isn’t the best for easy transport links.

Tucked away down a private cobbled street, this classic mews house is an urban retreat with an outdoor terrace. You can relax by the fire pit or cuddle up inside while listening to records. It’s worth nothing the third bedroom has a single sofa bed, but this is a great option for families travelling with kids. Private parking is available and you’ll find a diverse selection of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Battersea Park is also within easy reach and it’s just a twenty-minute walk or short bus ride to the nearest train station.

We love the industrial touch here with the bare hanging bulbs and brick wall, as well as the skylight that allows you to fall asleep counting the stars (should you not wish to use the blackout blinds). Cross Battersea Bridge or pretty pink Albert Bridge to discover Chelsea’s quaint streets and upscale shops (fifteen minutes away on foot) or visit the iconic Battersea Power Station (a twenty-minute walk away). As the micro-neighbourhood of Chelsea Beach is nowhere near the coast, it might seem like an odd name. But we'd much rather be in this vibrant area of West London than a sandy coastline. You can't help but love its bustling array of bars, restaurants, and beautiful homes – the latter including this four-floor townhouse. As soon as you arrive, this striking Victorian building is sure to impress you. Entering through the front door from this leafy street, you’ll immediately be drawn to colourful features such as original artworks on the walls. Handsome period details, like a marble fireplace and claw-foot bathtub, blend neatly with the owners’ many arresting watercolours. With such high ceilings, the home feels incredibly spacious, with two entertainment-filled living areas and a jungle-like back garden.
