Of course, the central setting lends itself to noise, and the bedrooms are particularly snug. But the living area is roomy and offers views of the street (it also has a sofa bed for two), the kitchen is well-appointed, and the location speaks for itself. What a fantastic address this apartment has. It’s situated in Belgravia, home to chic cafes and delis, while Orange Square, which hosts the Pimlico Road Farmers’ Market every weekend, is just a short walk away. Of course, such a great location can come with some compromises. The rub here is the main bedroom faces a busy road, so some traffic noise may be heard, especially when the windows are open. We love the little terrace, though – perfect for a glass of fizz after a busy day, and the apartment has a lovely homely vibe.

Quintessential Belgravia

You’d be forgiven for mistaking this Kensington home for an elegant country cottage. Walk ten minutes to visit beautiful Kensington Gardens or explore South Kensington’s famous Natural History Museum, and while away afternoons sampling the plethora of cafes and restaurants in your neighbourhood.
