Into the lower-ground floor level apartment is a spacious living-dining room, another kitchen, two more double bedrooms and a second little terrace for a morning coffee. We think it's a great choice whether you're travelling with family or as a large friend group. The location is great, placing you within walking distance of nearby shops and restaurants. You're an eight-minute walk to both West Brompton and Earls Court stations for connections in and out of the city.

While we can't describe the home as a showstopper, its calm, country-style interior is inviting and fuss-free. Your own private garden is definitely an added bonus. It also feels more characterful than your standard cookie-cutter apartment – the building used to be a shop, so you benefit from the high ceilings and large windows.

We think groups will appreciate the open-plan design, as it makes it easy to relax, eat, and cook together. Just note that the two bedrooms on the upper floor are a little snug. Otherwise, it's a fuss-free option for a London getaway.

Locally, there are restaurants and bars, or for trips further afield, hop on the tube at Putney Bridge Underground Station to explore the city with ease.
