It’s a sensory delight as soon as you walk through the door, with welcoming spaces designed with a calming colour palette and filled with modern furniture in a pristine condition. The views over St. James’s garden also add to the natural, peaceful feel of the home. The stylish bathroom was a standout feature, with a freestanding bath, walk-in rain shower and contemporary brass fixtures. It’s also a prime location for visiting London, with the tube, Notting Hill and Portobello all within walking distance.

In the heart of London's old Dickensian market district, this Notting Hill apartment is certainly a hidden treasure. There are also two tube stations close by for trips around the city. As the pad is located on a main road, we recommend packing earplugs if you’re easily woken by traffic noise. And while the communal hallway of the building could do with some attention, the home itself is well-kept and plenty comfortable for any length of stay.
