Moored up along the Regent’s Canal, this houseboat is in the heart of London. Regent’s Park is right next door and Primrose Hill is on the other bank. Plus, the buzzing heart of Camden Lock is a short walk away. The space inside has been carefully considered with two double bedrooms (one with a fold-out sofa bed), a full kitchen and cosy living room. There’s no chance of cabin fever with additional outdoor areas – lounge seating on the canalside and plenty of room to spread out on a towel on the rooftop. Of course, as a narrowboat, there are lots of amenities tucked away and fold-out features. It wouldn’t suit those that like oodles of space.

Honeymoon is ideally located on a quiet residential street within walking distance of the amenities of Regent's Park Road (lots of lovely restaurants) and both Primrose Hill and Camden Market are within easy reach, making it a great base for those looking to discover Camden's main attractions. The dining space has a retro feel with an oval marble table and iconic Arco-style floor lamp, and while the living area is a little small, the walled garden brings a welcome feeling of space.

Adorned with books, one-of-a-kind artwork and laid-back designs, this is a space perfect for creatives who draw inspiration from their surroundings. Neutral tones provide a blank canvas for a relaxing space, while the occasional pop of colour seen through fun accessories liven up the interiors with style. We particularly love the original features such as the solid oak wooden flooring, double-height ceilings and the marble fireplace that hone in on the home's old charm and typically London character. Perched on top of the hill just minutes away from Camden or Regents Park – you're bound to feel inspired here. Situated in Primrose Hill, this stylish mews house is bursting with unique design elements from Morocco, India and Paris. It's not suitable for toddlers and small children due to its stairs and ornaments throughout, but babies and furry friends are more than welcome. The third bed is quite small and will be a bit of a squeeze for two adults – we think it's best suited to teens and older kids, or just one adult. The beautiful Primrose Hill Park is a short walk from your doorstep, along with local shops and cafes to explore.

The Golden Lily

We adore this Primrose Hill home's rooftop balcony with views over London. It's the perfect spot for drinks at sunset – but that's not the only outdoor space – there's a charming walled patio and decked area here too. Housed in a classic Victorian townhouse with contemporary interiors, sparkling chandeliers, plush pink sofas, and delightful shuttered windows offering views onto the street  – it's the ideal place to gather with family and friends. The master bathroom oozes luxury – think freestanding bath and marble-clad walls. There's also a handy office space for when you need to work from home. If you don't fancy cooking in the stylish kitchen, your host can arrange private chefs and butlers. Or, on your doorstep, you'll find chic delis, cafes, restaurants and bars in this exclusive village-like setting, while the eponymous hill, a great spot for kite-flying and picnics, is just a two-minute walk. Places you in the heart of Camden, this one-storey apartment is perfect for two couples who like to be in the centre of the action. The home's monochrome colour scheme might not be the most inspiring, but it contributes to a relaxed interior. Having a balcony is a nice addition too, and perfect for those lazy mornings. We weren't sure about having an exercise bike next to one of the beds, but it does let you stretch your legs before breakfast. Given the location, it'll come as no surprise that there is a plethora of eateries, cafes, bars, and music venues on your doorstep.

In the heart of Primrose Hill, this stunning Grade II listed artist’s studio makes for a wonderfully unique London base. The historic studio, once a Victorian painting room, has been home to leading artists including Patrick Caulfield and John William Waterhouse. The double-height entrance hall opens to the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining room. Walls of glass flood the space with light and look out onto the private walled garden. Artwork by Australian and British artists is dotted around – it's a joy to explore this home. The house is tucked away down a private access road, so it’s tranquil and calm, despite being just a two-minute walk from Primrose Hill and a wealth of shops and eateries. 

The Victorian Painting Room

Who can say no to having Primrose Hill and Regent's Park on their doorstep? Certainly not us, which is why this bright apartment caught our eye. The private garden has direct access to the parks – simply pad outside and be picnicking in no time. Bus stops and St John's Wood Underground are also within easy reach, keeping you well-connected to the capital. Back home, you'll find two living areas, a modern kitchen, and two comfortable bedrooms. There's more than enough space to stretch out, even with two guests sleeping on sofa beds. With all the amenities and extras you'll need, we think it ticks the boxes for a care-free London stay.

Primrose & Ivy

Camden Town is famously colourful and exciting, with a vibrant music scene, bustling market, and creative history. It’s no wonder that this home, right in the middle of it all, fits the bill for what you'd expect from the area. The first thing you’ll notice is the striking pop of red from the twin sofas in the lounge. We love the bright, jacquard fabric against the marl grey, fluffy rug. It’s an eclectic mix that brings character to the lounge, alongside multicoloured, abstract artworks. However, our favourite spot has to be the wraparound balcony. On the fifth floor of this building, the views are phenomenal. You can see out to the canal and city, plus iconic venues like Camden Roundhouse. Have a few chilled beers up here before heading to a gig in the heart of London’s music scene. While you've got plenty of canalside boozers, street food stalls, and rooftop bars to choose from, there are quieter sides to this region. Walk southwest along the canal to Regent’s Park in six minutes (which is also home to London Zoo). Another fifteen-minute walk northwest will take you to the top of Primrose Hill – this climb is a rite of passage for any north Londoner.

We love the French windows, which let in plenty of light, and on sunny days you can throw them open and step onto the balcony for a breath of fresh air.

Sitting on the second floor of a walk-up period building in Bloomsbury, this bright apartment not only provides views over charming Queen Square Gardens but also puts you in a central spot from which to explore the city. The British Museum, the Charles Dickens Museum and the British Library are all within walking distance, while the nearby transport links will whisk you to the buss of Soho and beyond in no time. Inside the home, modern decor and plenty of natural light are nice touches. And the extendable window-side table can easily double as a remote workspace if you’re visiting the city for business.

Bull Inn Court still bears the name of the pub that stood on this site until 1680, and while the inn might be long gone, its spirit lives on in the drinking, dining and entertainment on offer throughout the area. This luxurious and spacious apartment offers the ultimate in comfort and convenience close to London's glistening West End. Its open living space features a seating area, dining table and sleek kitchen that's perfect if you fancy a casual night kicking back in front of the TV. Both bathrooms are finished to a luxurious standard and have walk-in showers, while the en-suite benefits from the addition of a bathtub. A short stroll away is the Thames, where you can enjoy romantic riverside walks and take in the scenic views. Originally built in the 1730s, this sumptuous apartment is a shining example of Georgian architecture. The building is one of the oldest in Mayfair – in 1821, famed Buckingham Palace architect Thomas Cubbit extended it – and you can see the character, history and period details in every room. It feels like a home you want to linger in, with new surprises waiting at every turn. We love the antique furniture – a clawfoot desk here, a fauteuil armchair there – but the smart kitchen, stylish bathroom and mod-cons like a rainfall shower, espresso machine and Netflix bring things in the 21st-century. We think it's the best of both worlds, and the location is even better.

Ritzy and charming, Mayfair is home to leafy squares, cobbled lanes lined with cafes and some of the oldest shops in London. Fashionistas will enjoy shopping along New Bond Street and Saville Row (a five-minute walk away), art fiends can browse the nearby galleries and auction houses (Phillips Auction House & Gallery is right next door) and foodies will love the bevvy of gourmet eateries nearby. With Bond Street Station only six minutes away on foot, travelling around the rest of the city is easy – perfect if you fancy a bit of sightseeing.

The Georgian Architect

Marylebone isn't just a neighbourhood that causes even seasoned Londoners some difficulty when it comes to pronunciation — it's also a great location from which to explore the best parts of the city and you can also find some superb homes here.

This apartment is one of them. We'll start with the terrace, which, while on the smaller side, has been styled as a peaceful enclave complete with vegetation and a stone fountain. The chequerboard tiling underfoot is striking, especially the way in which it continues in through the curved glass door and snaked into the modern grey kitchen.

The rest of the living quarters are, by comparison, a little more traditional in style, with white walls, vintage furnishings and wooden floors covered in rugs making for a homely atmosphere. After a long day exploring the city's streets, the gas fireplace is a lovely place to hunker down beside, although the bathtub is an equally inviting option.

As mentioned, the local area offers plenty of ways to fill up your days. Regent's Park takes ten minutes to reach on foot and Hyde Park a quarter of an hour. The Wallace Collection — twelve minutes away on foot — is one of London's most underrated galleries, too.



Montagues & Capulets

This chic apartment matches its Knightsbridge location perfectly. You'll be just a short walk from Harrods, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Hyde Park, and well-connected Tube stations – if that's not central, we don't know what is. It's set on the ground and lower-ground floors of a Georgian townhouse, so expect original features like bay windows and cornice ceilings. Topping it all off is the private terrace – just the spot for a cup of tea in the sunshine.

Knightsbridge Elegance

Mixing contemporary stylings with Grade II-listed charm, this pad in Marylebone is a perfect fit for couples and solo travellers. What it lacks in floorspace, it makes up for in comfort. The kitchen is ideal for quick bites, the dining table doubles as a workspace, and the collection of curated art and other hand-picked decor gives the whole place a boutique feel. As for location? You can't beat it. Shops, restaurants, and cafes – it's all within walking distance here. And with Underground stations an easy stroll away, you'll be well-connected to the rest of the city, too.

The Lithograph

Located in the heart of St John’s Wood, this apartment offers a great base for those visiting London for either work or leisure. There’s a dedicated office that can double as a single bedroom if needed, and the apartment’s private entrance adds a touch of privacy here too. Its lower-ground floor position means there’s not an abundance of natural light, but we’re willing to overlook this given the home’s prime location. An easy walk from Regent’s Park, Primrose Hill, Abbey Road Studios and with plenty of public transport options nearby, you’ll have the capital at your fingertips. 


The Robin

This Paddington apartment has space to work from home and excellent transport links across the city. It's a great find for business travellers, though families and friend groups will also feel right at home. Keep in mind that the living space is on the smaller side, and it's on the third floor of a building without a lift. Even so, given the location – a five-minute walk from Paddington Station and twenty minutes from Hyde Park – we think that's a fair compromise.

The Paddington Pick

With leafy gardens, Georgian architecture, and literary connections, Highgate Village is the place to be for nature and history lovers. For the arts, this home is just an eleven-minute stroll to Highgate Contemporary Art Gallery, while Jacksons Lane Arts Centre is a cultural hub two minutes from your door. Dickens and Byron frequented the taverns around here, but there are still plenty of gastro pubs and restaurants for those with modern tastes – as well as this apartment. 

Behind the traditional red-brick Victorian facade of the building, you’ll be surprised at the contrast. Your chic living space features ghost chairs and glass tabletops, with high ceilings and an understated colour palette creating a feeling of zen. But original features have not been forgotten – we love the large period windows that allow light to flood in, as well as the ornate fireplace with carved ironwork and antique ceramic tiles.

After a few glasses of English sparkling wine on the mid-century sofa, it might be time for a lie-down. In soothing neutral colour schemes, and with views of lush foliage, both bedrooms have a calming ambience. You can’t beat a peaceful night's sleep after an evening of culture and cocktails in this tranquil region of North London.

Sitting pretty on a one-way street, this superb apartment is modern, comfortable and stylish. Designed for up to four people, it's in a prime location with the added bonus of not one, but two balconies. 

Part of a modern development, your home is on the third floor and it's been put together with great taste. Everything from the white walls and squashy sofa to the wood floors and American-style shutters speaks of subtle sophistication. Keen cooks will be pleased to know there's a well-equipped galley kitchen and home-workers will spot the desk in the master bedroom – where patio doors open to the little balcony.   

Thanks to its good size bedrooms, each with a dedicated bathroom, families and small groups of friends will feel right at home here, and its just a short walk to some of London's biggest attractions.

There were a lot of features about this home that we really loved. While it is a fairly small space, it has been thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, and your host is also one of the loveliest people we have had the pleasure to meet. The interiors do have a contemporary feel, with the Andy Warhol photography adding character. Accessed via a ladder-style staircase, the bedroom here is on a mezzanine level, so you'll have to be prepared for some mid-stay climbing. The surrounding location is idyllic, with a bohemian vibe and within easy reach of the coveted Notting Hill.

Time travel back to the swinging psychedelic sixties with a stay in this beautifully curated apartment, located in the heart of Mayfair. Sitting within a building dating back to the 1730s, it’s the earliest surviving house in the area and was modernised in 1821 by Thomas Cubitt – the same master builder who constructed Buckingham Palace’s facade. 
 
Packed full of Art Nouveau and early Art Deco antiques – styles that signalled fashion and rebellion in the 1960s – there’s a definite touch of retro glamour in the living room, paired with vibrant pop art prints of the Beatles and swish velvet furnishings that effortlessly channel sixties cool. Kick back on the sofa with a glass of wine after a day of exploring or gather around the elegant dining table for a sophisticated soirée when you’re not out soaking up the lively atmosphere of Central London at night.

You’re also a twelve-minute stroll from leafy Hyde Park, while Soho is thirteen minutes away on foot.

Staying in Hampstead means staying in one of London’s leafiest, most peaceful, and opulent neighbourhoods. This home is just a three-minute walk from the lush greenery of Hampstead Heath, where you can swim in natural pools, head to the striking viewpoint at Parliament Hill, or simply lose yourself in the dappled light of the walking trails. In a majestic red-brick building that feels quintessentially English, this charming garden flat is the perfect base for discovering the delights of your locale.
