While in a very central spot, the double-glazed windows will ensure any outside noise is kept to a minimum. You certainly won't need a car here – public transport is right on your doorstep, and there's an array of museums, galleries, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, including the famous British Museum.

Although it has changed over the years, the central neighbourhood of Soho remains one of London's most notorious — a centre for hedonism and culinary delights. Despite its incredible location, it's far from poky, with large windows in the living room flooding the space with natural light, which dances nicely off the dark wooden floors and cleansingly white walls. The bedroom is generously sized too, as is the sleek white kitchen, which will stand up to home-cooking duties should you tire of the countless restaurants that surround your address. Soho Square Gardens sits a minute's walk up the road if you want somewhere to people-watch, while there are a wide range of comedy clubs, theatres and late-night dancefloors in a radius of ten minutes' walk or so to keep you occupied once the sun goes down.

With its riot of colours and marquee style letter lighting, there’s something of a carnival vibe to this converted warehouse. It’s a post-industrial loft space that doesn’t take itself too seriously. We love the tongue-in cheek detailing, from the funky ‘hair hub’ to the dog wallpaper, irreverent cushions and neon letter art. The bedrooms are sexy and sumptuous and the high-spec kitchen will satisfy even the most ardent chef. You’d be hard pushed to find a better location as well. Based in central Soho, between Dean and Wardour Street, you’re in the heart of the action the second you step out of your door. It’s not a place for those seeking a quiet getaway though - don your feather boa and get out into the non-stop Soho fiesta.

Situated between Soho's most iconic thoroughfares of Dean Street and Wardour Street – this home is perfect for a city getaway or work trip. Just a one-minute walk will take you to a myriad of restaurants and bars, or sample the cosmopolitan nightlife in Old Compton Street, a four-minute saunter. If you crave some greenery, then leafy Soho Square is a three-minute stroll, or have an evening at the theatre – Leicester Square is a ten-minute wander, while Covent Garden is twelve minutes on foot. Housed in one of the area's most desirable apartment blocks, the converted warehouse facade of the building will make you feel like you're living on a film set. We were surprised by how peaceful this place is inside, considering it's located in one of london's most lively neighbourhoods. Sunlight streams into the stylish open-plan living space, thanks to the enormous windows. Enjoy some cosmopolitan cocktails at the steel island in the spacious kitchen, or relax with some candles and music in the bathtub before exploring all this fantastic district has to offer. It's no wonder this home has amazing reviews – we love it here.

With the bustling Shaftesbury Avenue right on your doorstep, this pad on the cusp of Soho is the perfect base for a London getaway. Here, mid-century cool meets minimal Scandi design – think clean lines, contemporary decor and chic Hem furniture that's as comfy as it is stylish. We loved how roomy and open the flat is – you won't be cramped for space (which is rare for this central postcode). The sleek kitchen is fully stocked with plates, cutlery and other cookware to make self-catering easy, although you'll probably prefer dining out at the number of trendy bars, gourmet restaurants and unique eateries on your doorstep. In the evenings, unwind on the squishy sectional sofa with a glass of wine and your favourite Netflix show before snuggling up in the cushy bed. Or, if you crave a night on the town, you can catch a show in the West End, dance the night away at Soho's swinging clubs or grab a drink at one of the traditional pubs. Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square tube stations are both a five-minute stroll, so getting around the city is a piece of cake. And with Chinatown, Oxford Street and Covent Garden all a stone's throw from this flat, you'll never run out of things to do.

With some of the best bits of the city within a few minutes' walk – Regent Street, Mayfair, Piccadilly Circus – this newly built apartment is perfectly placed. Inside, there’s no scrimping on the details, which makes for a home chock full of character. The furniture is positively swoon-worthy; sink into a beautifully upholstered bed at the end of a busy day of shopping and theatre-going. Kitchen appliances – such as the impressive Gaggenau oven – are high spec. Art lovers will appreciate the original art on the walls, and the designer vases and trinkets on display add a touch of cool.
