Redcar has 8 miles of sand running from South Gare to Saltburn-by-the-Sea, and the dunes are just a five-minute stroll away from the cottage. The coastline here is also a hotspot for fossil hunters and beach-combers. Walk for ten minutes, and you'll reach the town centre, lined with traditional shops and eateries. The North York Moors National Park is a twenty-minute drive away and can be explored by mountain bikers, hikers, and ramblers.
