Choose this characterful and spacious apartment situated right on the seafront if you seek a peaceful base for a family holiday or a getaway for a group of friends. The building itself used to be a hotel and it still preserves that vintage holiday vibe we love. 

Come inside and be charmed by the generous space filled with natural light flooding in through the large windows. The walls are asymmetrically curved creating many snuggly nooks, perfect for cuddling up with a good book and a glass of wine. There is plenty of space to lounge about and enjoy movie nights with the family or evenings of laughter and conversation in the company of your friends. For chillier evenings there’s a fireplace to keep you warm. 

While the kitchen is small in scale it has all you’ll need to rustle up delicious meals that can be shared with your whole party at the elegant dining table. Head over to the plush and luxurious bedrooms for a good night’s rest, cradled by the sounds of the waves gently rolling in outside. 

Wake up restored and ready for a day of exploring. You’ll find that there is more than enough to keep everyone happy in the area: from the charming Redcar town centre a fifteen-minute walk away to the beautiful coastal walks and the Teesmouth National Nature Reserve a short drive away.

Just a mile from the beautiful sandy and shingle shores of Marske Beach, this newly built holiday home is perfectly positioned to explore this picturesque stretch of the North Sea coast.

The majority of the individually decorated rooms include an eye-catching feature wall, adding a splash of colour and a playful atmosphere to the home, while the enclosed garden is perfect for outdoor dinners and playtime with four-legged friends and energetic children. 

You'll hear the occasional cheer from the terraces of the nearby football club. Still, its family-friendly atmosphere on match days makes it an ideal candidate for a first football match, with little worry about the outlay when your children inevitably grow bored around fifteen minutes in. 

After catching a snippet of the game, enjoy an afternoon stroll southwards along the dramatic coast towards the historic seaside spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea with its iconic cast iron pier stretching 208 metres out to sea and its Grade II-listed cliff lift.

Set in the heart of coastal town Redcar, you have sand, sea, and moors all on your doorstep. And what a doorstep. The beautiful cottage is Grade II listed, owing to its 17th-Century heritage, with stunning period features and a warm, farmhouse feel. 

This location is ideal for history and nature fans and people who want to escape the city and relax on the beach. Redcar has 8 miles of sand running from South Gare to Saltburn-by-the-Sea, and the dunes are just a five-minute stroll away from the cottage. The coastline here is also a hotspot for fossil hunters and beach-combers. Walk for ten minutes, and you'll reach the town centre, lined with traditional shops and eateries. The North York Moors National Park is a twenty-minute drive away and can be explored by mountain bikers, hikers, and ramblers. Discover unique wildlife and a landscape of purple heather, forests, and dales. 

When you arrive home after a long day of exploration, enjoy the quaint original features of the brick fireplace and wooden beams. In the milder months, fire up the pit on the patio and cook local produce as the sun goes down.

The Victorian spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea makes for an excellent seaside escape. It’s a real coastal retreat, surrounded by charming seaside towns and villages – you can use Saltburn as your base for exploring the area. 

This charming apartment is ideal for romantic getaways, and equally well suited to solo stays by the sea. We love the traditional beams and cosy, homey vibe. You’ll feel at home the instant you arrive at this stylish abode. Best of all, the apartment boasts sea views. Wake up each morning to see the sea rushing ashore. Step out onto the balcony to sip your morning coffee, and breathe in the sea air. The blue-tiled kitchen is a lovely spot for your meals, whether you’ve whipped up a cooked breakfast or are unwrapping fish and chips for your evening meal. 

It’s just a short walk down to the beach, where you can build sandcastles, skim stones, or even try out the surf. Saltburn is also home to the UK’s oldest functioning cliff lift – enjoy the ride down to the promenade. Later on, stroll along the 208-metre-long pier with an ice cream – we do love to be beside the sea.

The apartment has been beautifully converted to retain its original features which give it so much character.
