This compact villa offers open-plan studio-style space which is best suited to a couple, although the two sofa beds in the living area could be used for children. The wow factor here is the spectacular view across the Aegean Sea to the caldera, which can be enjoyed from the private hot tub, balcony and living area. Luckily breakfast is included and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. This lovely family home is located on the northwestern tip of Santorini. Some parts of the house (such as the kitchen) are a little dated but we think it also adds to its charm. The home includes a nice leafy garden with a pool and although this is certainly on the small side, it’s a welcome addition for those scorching days. We particularly love the Jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace – perfect for soaking up the island views. Several of Oia’s eateries are within walking distance and Ammoudi bay is about a fifteen-minute stroll away.

Now that's what we call a view – perfect for catching the sun setting behind the nearby volcanic island over cocktails. Inside, the home boasts plenty of Santorini style, with plenty of curves and vaulted ceilings. Two of the bedrooms are a little on the small side, but we suspect you'll want to spend as much time as possible outside here – the stunning Jacuzzi and terrace area are perfect any hour of the day or night, while the alfresco dining area is an ideal spot for breakfast.
