Part of a brand new hotel building in Oslo, this fourth-floor apartment benefits from both a private garden and rooftop terrace, but don't worry if the Nordic weather's not quite right for relaxing in the open air – the living quarters are just as pleasant thanks to the impeccable design. We can't imagine anywhere we'd like to return to more after a day of exploring the Norwegian capital's restaurants, parks and landmarks – not to mention the building's original public bath dating back to the 1930s, which has been gloriously restored.
