This contemporary villa is all about the location for us. Keen to explore on foot? Lagos town is a pleasant fifteen-minute stroll away and Porto de Mós beach is reachable in twenty minutes. That said, the local bus service makes hopping around the area a breeze, and if you do hire a car, further afield you’ll find a whole host of golf courses and water parks. After a busy day, back at the villa sun-drenched terraces and a private pool await, ready for you to finish the day relaxed, with a drink in hand.

Located in a quiet area of Lagos, this holiday apartment boasts two private balconies, each with outdoor seating and lovely views. One overlooks the communal swimming pools which are sure to be a hit with kids, while the adults will appreciate the building's shared gym. Your host can provide a range of extras here, from luxuries like private chefs to conveniences like airport transfers and food hampers. Beach towels can be rented for days out at the nearby Meia Praia, and we think you'll want a car here for easy beach trips. Perched high on a clifftop gazing out over the Atlantic, this villa is exquisite. Inside, it’s all understated elegance. We love the generosity of this home when it comes to space to spread out as a family – it’s a sociable space, but with two living areas, there’s space for the adults to gather and enjoy quiet conversation over a bottle of wine, and a separate space for your little ones to kick back on their own comfy sofas and make the most of their games console. A sleek kitchen provides everything you need to rustle up a delicious dinner if you fancy an evening at home, and still allows you to peek out at the ocean. 

If you’re not out exploring Lagos and its welcoming beaches where water sports are a must, you can while away the hours easily in this home. Gain some respite from the Portuguese heat and sink into your private pool, swim a few lengths and you’ll soon feel re-energised. If you’d rather relax, you can hop into your hot tub and feel wrapped in the warmth of the bubbles, or head up to the rooftop terrace, settle down on a sun lounger and enjoy your holiday read. The only thing likely to distract you is the vast blue ocean stretching out before you – but, what a lovely distraction to have.

There’s no need for a car at this contemporary apartment, just a twenty-minute stroll from Lagos town centre. You’ll be within walking distance of an array of restaurants and bars, as well as a trio of sandy beaches. Located on a quiet complex, you can use the shared swimming pool here (although inflatables and jumping into the water aren’t allowed so that might be a deal-breaker if you’ve got kids). The home boasts direct access to the pool area, a sociable open-plan living space, and a private terrace overlooking the pool and gardens. If the pool rules don’t bother you, we think this home is a great choice for a hassle-free holiday with family or friends.

If you long to spend your holiday relaxing on the soft sand or swimming in the sea, this is the home for you. A simple ten-minute stroll is all it takes to reach Meia Praia beach from this apartment. Or, perhaps you fancy a boat trip from the marina – well, that’s close by too. So you see, it’s all about location here – that said, the home itself, while stripped back in nature, has everything needed for a comfortable stay. And with a communal swimming pool and sun-kissed terraces to enjoy, staying put for the day could be a winner.

You'll enjoy access to the communal swimming pool and children's pool, and the twin beds can be joined on request to make a super king bed, making this home great for romantic retreats and family trips alike. Parties and loud music aren't permitted at this condominium, so you can guarantee a peaceful and relaxing stay.
