Lebessa is a great home for a large family who wants to enjoy the rustic beauty of Kayaköy. The town is only a short drive away, and the nearest sandy beach won't take you long to find either. When you're ready to venture to the larger cities of Fethiye and Ölüdeniz, you'll be equally surprised at how close they all are. But the villa alone will keep you busy — Lebessa is a beautiful home, built with stone and a true eye for architectural beauty. The pool has been incorporated in between the buildings in a way that feels organic and inviting, and the exposed beams on the ceiling work well with the wooden textures. It's stylish, it's modern, and it feels like a home away from home. We loved it.

This romantic one-bedroom bolthole is a perfect choice for couples who want to relax and enjoy each other's company. It offers a sense of privacy and seclusion as well as far-reaching views of the garden and beyond. The property benefits from an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The main swimming pool lends itself to those who like to do a few lengths before breakfast. Glass doors lead inside to the open-plan kitchen, living, and sitting area, which is well-appointed with all the amenities you would expect in a modern villa. The interior has floor-to-ceiling glass doors on two sides of the room, one side opens onto the garden and outside pool terrace, while the other opens onto the inside pool. The bedroom features an enormous round bed and floor-to-ceiling glass doors on two sides of the room. Islamlar village offers breathtaking panoramic views from every aspect and provides visitors with a genuine taste of rural Turkish village life. Kalkan town is just 15 minutes down the road, offering excellent choices of elegant roof-terraced restaurants.

To top it all off, there’s an indoor hot tub and two balconies accessed from the pair of bedrooms – sea and countryside views included. When thoughts turn to sightseeing, hop in your car to explore Kalkan’s old town and harbour, make a beeline for the pebble beach or hike a portion of the Lycian Way, Turkey’s longest walking trail.

To put it simply, this home is stunning. It’s perched on top of a hill just a short walk from downtown Kalkan, and boasts mesmerising views of the Mediterranean Sea and nearby islands. The glittering blue seascape can be enjoyed from almost every angle of this magnificent villa. 

As you approach the villa and take in the view, you’ll smell the flowers in the garden. The land is also home to countless palm, banana, grape and olive trees, all vying for attention in the pretty setting. The heated infinity pool stretches out towards the sea, and is where we’d be spending most of our time. After an early-morning dip, you might lie out in the sun for an hour or two, before moving into the shade of the outdoor lounge. Sip cocktails while drinking in the view, and plan the rest of your day. 

Will you have lunch outside, or move into the cool confines of the stylish villa? The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a breeze, and the barbecue is perfect for alfresco feasting. 

This home is bright and welcoming, with enough room for a large group, including two kitchens and living areas, each with their own entrance and terrace. The table tennis and darts board always prove popular, whether you’re travelling with friends or as a family. There are quiet corners too, so you can always slip away for a moment of romance. The master suite even has a Jacuzzi, where you can sip Champagne as you watch the sun set in your own little haven.

Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors throughout allow you to enjoy the vistas from every corner of the home, and multiple balconies are ideal to enjoy some quiet time from the rest of the group with your chosen holiday read. Both the infinity pool and terrace are completely private, so you can sunbathe in peace knowing that you can’t be seen.

The villa is also only 300 metres from the beach, where you can unwind on the sand with your favourite book or go snorkelling, although be warned that's it's easier to walk down than back up the hill.
