While the decor is beautiful, there’s something to be said about the home’s three balconies and lush gardens. Sunbathe in the privacy of one balcony, before enjoying an afternoon cocktail by the fire pit on another. Sunsets aren’t to be missed here – the panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean are unmatched. High up on a bluff in Malibu with some of the best far-reaching views of Southern California is this estate perfect for an extravagant retreat or destination wedding. Aside from the endless indoor-outdoor spaces to entertain at this home, its major highlights for us were the two grand pianos and a fully equipped recording studio that are all perfect for a professional rock-star, talent in the making, or a simple music enthusiast who wants to soak up the California creative vibe. For a celebrity-style event, tents are situated nearest the sea on the home’s ten sweeping acres. If it’s just a luxurious Malibu experience you have in mind, the pool and other endless amenities are not too shabby.

It feels like you can almost touch the ocean from this beachfront studio in Malibu. The vistas from the private balcony are second to none. There’s also a shared deck to take advantage of, with a fire pit, barbeque and lounge area. We love the views from inside this compact home too. Malibu Beach, of course, is just steps away – perfect for a stroll or go surfing in its warm waters. If you tire of the beach, then you can head to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area a short drive away.

This beachfront home is the perfect setting for a blissful coastal getaway. Perched on the shores of Malibu, you’ll be spoiled by beautiful views, a private garden and a fire-pit – perfect for magical evenings under the stars. The main bedroom has access to private deck and one of the rooms is located in an independent guest house with its own kitchen – perfect for those seeking a little extra space. Parking is available and it’s just a short drive along the coast to Malibu Pier and the nearest amenities.

You’ll have sunset beach strolls literally on your doorstep or if you want to explore a little further afield, the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a short drive away. Other places of interest nearby include The Palisades and Venice Beach.

When presented with a view of such beauty, the only response that can really do it justice is 'wow'. That was our reaction as we stood on one of the home's many balconies and gazed out at the endless Pacific Ocean. You don't even have to head outside to take in this stunning panorama, thanks to the huge floor-to-ceiling windows that take up most of the walls. With your attention naturally drawn away from the home, it might take you a moment before you can appreciate just how well the interior has been put together. The cleansing white living area and handsome wood-panelled kitchen are both boosted by a collection of impressive accoutrements, including an inbuilt Bose sound system, Miele cooking appliances and a Jacuzzi bathtub. A little more low-key but no less appreciated are three sea kayaks and fishing poles that are also available for guests to use. To reach the beach, all you have to do is descend the stairs, pass the home's deck with alfresco dining area and hey presto, you're there. Countless hours of fun await, whether you're atop the waves or out exploring Santa Monica, which is less than a quarter of an hour's drive away.
