You’ll have full access to Lapland’s best ski resort at this burnished log cabin. Just around the corner are cross-country ski tracks leading right to Levi, or perhaps a spot of ice fishing will stir your interest if hitting the slopes isn’t your thing. Whatever you end up doing, after a day spent out in nature you’ll no doubt welcome the opportunity to thaw out by the log burner at this Finnish forest cabin. We love the rusticness of this home, and the sauna is a welcome little piece of luxury. Hunker down among blankets and cushions with the kids to plan the next day’s activities and don’t forget to take a peek outside before bed – the northern lights might be shining in the night sky.

About Finland
Land of a thousand lakes, Finland is all about embracing the outdoors. In the south, it feels more like a series of islands as huge swathes of lake cut through the land. The way of life here is fish caught by your own hand, and smoked on the cabin terrace. Pine trees tower above and woodland walks and cycling is the way to immerse in nature. Summer brings endless daytime...
