For a trip away from home, this entirely modern holiday pad is right on the money. Grab the kids and get ready for a time filled with beach days, swimming, tennis, sailing – we could go on. You could even cross the border into Belgium and spend a day in medieval Antwerp, with its impressive cathedral and café-lined cobbled streets. Back at the house, head inside and light the gas fireplace for an inviting warmth or take things outside onto the deck. There’s a barbecue just waiting to be fired up for a family meal, but the jetty is our favourite spot. Leave the kids in front of the television while you watch the water and enjoy a glass of wine to round up a fun-filled day. Proost.
