Prepare to have your mind blown at this contemporary beach pad with the most magnificent panoramas of Maspalomas Dunes we ever did see from a private rooftop terrace.

You could easily while away a whole day at this immaculate home, hopping between that top-floor terrace with an outdoor shower to cool off and downstairs on the shady veranda for lazy alfresco breakfasts and post-lunch siestas. 

But when the sea finally calls, you won't have far to go. You've direct access to the Maspalomas Beach promenade and its silky golden sands (one hundred metres from your door, to be precise) – meaning you can nip back for a cool drink or nibbles whenever you please. Or mosey over to Maspalomas' seafront cafes and restaurants within walking distance to grab a bite to eat. Just be sure to head home for sunset – the views are out of this world way up high on the terrace.

When it's finally time to lay your heads, there's room for all ten of you to spill out here. A great option for friends or extended family sharing, the five bedrooms are spaced apart across two floors and all offer en-suite bathrooms to give guests that extra privacy. We'll leave you to decide though who lucks out on that enormous main suite bringing hacienda vibes and a sea view to boot.

This sparkling villa is tailor-made for large families or groups of friends looking for private luxury in rural Gran Canaria. Blessed with tranquility and boasting a fun-filled games room, it has the vibe of a five-star hotel that's reserved just for you. 

A huge open-plan living space – decorated in white walls and with tinges of colour on the furniture – is perfect for spending time as one group. However, when the sun sets on the terracotta tiles, you probably want to spend time outdoors. 

The huge terrace is adorned by intimate seating areas, comfy sun beds and, of course, the glistening pool. Every member of the group can fit in the pool, making it an idyllic spot for games of volleyball or water polo. Continuing the competitive side, get the rallies going during table tennis or practice your shooing at table football. 

Come the peace of the evening, there are two cute dining tables on the terrace, perfect for sharing tapas and a bottle of Cava. If you wanted to get out and discover the island, the charming restaurants and bars of Maspalomas are just a short drive away.

In the vibrant resort town of Maspalomas, this family-sized villa puts golf courses, sand dune beaches and a shopping mall on your doorstep. It’s a two-minute drive to the nearest golf course and a five-minute drive to the dunes of Maspalomas Beach (or half-hour walk if you fancy). 

Once you’ve had your fill of the Saharan-style landscape, head back to this plush villa to cool off in the private swimming pool. Loungers sit on the astroturf out here and there’s outdoor dining around the corner, on the covered patio. Open up the glass doors to the living room, and blend indoors with outdoors. Mustard-yellow sofas and ink-black artworks create a stylish seating area, and the kitchen just behind has everything you need for self-catering. If you’re not dining outside (there’s a gas grill out here too) then you can have a quick meal at the sleek, black breakfast bar. Those that need to work remotely will appreciate the pristine white dedicated office.

"Thinking of a dream holiday where comfort and tranquillity are part of everyday life? This modern accommodation refurbished in 2023 is ideal for you! Situated in one of the best areas of Playa del Inglés, just a few steps from the Yumbo Shopping Centre, restaurants, and the beach. It is located in a very quiet holiday complex, has quality materials and finishes and an unbeatable distribution. It has a terrace with views, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a communal swimming pool. The house, refurbished in 2023, with a modern style, is distributed as follows: Entering the house, we find the living room-kitchen. On one side there is a bathroom with shower and the 2 bedrooms. On the other side of the accommodation, we find the living room and the terrace, which has an outdoor chair and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped, with dishwasher and kitchen utensils. There is free high-speed wifi in all rooms and air conditioning in the lounge."

If you want to be in the heart of Playa del Inglés, then this home could be for you. The Yumbo Centre, with its LGBT bars, clubs, restaurants, and supermarkets, is just 250 metres away. The beach, on the other hand, is 950 metres away. Or you could take a dip in this home's private above-ground plunge pool (there's a fee if you want it heated). There's a larger communal pool in the development, too, if you want to swim some lengths. This home is ideal for friends or a family looking for a central location.

Located close to Gran Canaria's southernmost tip, this Playa del Inglés villa places you within reach of a gorgeous stretch of sandy beach and the dunes at Dunas de Maspalomas. There are a few quirks here – the ensuite is entirely visible from the main bedroom, and there's a TV room that juts out into the terrace, though this at least offers a nice spot to stay close to the sun lovers outside when you need some shade. It's the terrace that sold this home to us – though it's on the small side, the walls ensure privacy as you enjoy a dip in the private pool or dine alfresco in the sun.

The amazing dunes of Maspalomas are a must-see – it's a thirty-minute walk or seven-minute drive. The Kasbah Shopping Center, on the other hand, is a five-minute walk away, while the LGTBI friendly Yumbo Centre, with its bars, cafes and restaurants, is just under a twenty-minute walk.

With a sunny patio, glistening pool and bright, modern living space, this apartment has everything you'll need for a getaway in San Agustín. It's no surprise that you'll want to spend every second outside – between the shared poolside lounge chairs and the sandy beach just a few minutes away, there are plenty of places to soak up the sunshine. You're in Gran Canaria, after all – gorgeous weather is par for the course. If you need to cool off, grab a bite to eat at one of the delicious restaurants in town or come home and unwind with a glass of wine in the air-conditioned living room. Throw open the sliding doors and let the light in, flitting between the small patio and glossy kitchen as you rustle up dinner. Although the kitchen is compact and lacks an oven, we think it's well-suited for light bites and easy meals – plus coffee fiends will be pleased to see the espresso machine. When the night finally draws to a close, snuggle up for a restful sleep in the bedroom, ready to wake up tomorrow and do it all over again.
