This lovely, light-filled apartment is your ticket to experiencing the best of Madrid. Located in Chamberí, a historic and upmarket district, this fresh home is a tranquil hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. The home has been designed to provide easy access to everything you might need, whether your stay is for business or pleasure. The sleek kitchen merges with a clean and simple dining area, while the sitting room is more than spacious enough to crash out and watch your favourite shows. There’s even a dedicated workstation tucked away, just in case you need to check in with the office during your stay. Outside, the Madrid Metro keeps you connected to the rest of the city. Still, you won't need to go far to dip your toe into the city's famous cultural waters, as there are several fascinating museums, historic cinemas and entertaining theatres on your doorstep.

This home puts Chamberí's diverse bars and shops on your doorstep. Moments from the Paseo de la Castellana, you'll have excellent public transport links too. While we love the bright interior, it may be a better pick for light packers, as there isn't a lot of space in the bedrooms for storage. It's a shame the dining area doesn't seat six, though the kitchen offers another table for two. How about sunset-watching on the balcony after a day spent exploring Madrid?

Tucked away in Ríos Rosas, this apartment is an ideal base for a couple or a solo traveller. If you’re in the city for business, the desk set to one side of the bedroom makes remote working a breeze, while the two balconies offer the perfect spot for an evening sangria. And while you may like to cook at home, when in Madrid, live like a local. Calle Pozano, famed for its tapas bars, is the place Madrileños flock to – so dining out is a must. Keen to explore further afield? The nearby metro makes sightseeing simple, with vibrant Puerto del Sol a short ride away.

Seeking a stylish base in Madrid? This apartment is just the ticket. You'll find it near Chamberí, only a short walk from the metro connecting you to the best of the city. From shopping on Gran Vía to dining in nearby restaurants, there is plenty to see and do here. Neither the kitchen nor some of the bedrooms are the biggest, but it has all the essentials for a hassle-free stay. Just note that though there's space for five, we think it's a better fit for four.

Residential Chamberí might not be smack in the middle of Madrid's theatre scene, but if you're in town to relax and see it on your own terms, then you'll appreciate the quieter neighbourhood. Paquelin is a comfortable home in the heart of it, immaculate and simple. With only a few art prints on the walls (which we thoroughly enjoyed) and generally inobtrusive furniture, it's the kind of home that will best suit an adventurous family who will make it their own. The kitchen is on the smaller side, but it's still well equipped and bright.

With a central location in the trendy Ríos Rosas neighborhood of ever-exuberant Madrid, this modern and well-equipped studio apartment offers a compact yet comfortable and stylish base from which to set out and discover exactly what makes the Spanish capital tick. Escape with that special someone, a friend, or even on your own to delve beneath the surface of this multifaceted, truly fascinating city.

Here you'll find everything you could need for a short break, as well as finding yourself close to the myriad attractions, cultural and historical offerings, not to mention a host of happening tapas bars and that unmissable Madrid nightlife. Spend an afternoon perusing some of the nearby museums (among our favourites are the Sorolla Museum and the Geominero Museum), diving into chic local boutiques to snag yourself some effortlessly cool Spanish fashion, or simply hop from cafe to cafe, sampling light bites as the mood takes you. Then it's back to the apartment to freshen up and sip an evening vino before either calling it a night or joining the city's night owls and getting amongst the exuberant after-dark offerings. Located in the quieter neighbourhood of Ríos Rosas, this pad offers a calmer side of the city whilst still placing you within easy reach of the tapas bars and restaurants along Calle Ponzano. The interior style is stylish, with an open-plan living space to unwind. With large windows and a balcony, you'll enjoy plenty of natural light – especially when working from home. The highlight for us here is the communal pool – after a day of gallery hopping where better to enjoy a spot of sun? Gregorio Marañón metro station is right around the corner, although you can easily explore the boutiques, bars and hidden backstreets on foot.

A Saharan-inspired oasis in charming Madrid, this stylish apartment is an excellent place to rest your head. There's an instant feeling of comfort from the moment you walk through the door, thanks to the earth tones, natural accents and decorative elements like the rattan headboards. Every inch is inviting and warm – kick off your shoes and sprawl out on the squishy sofa for a Netflix movie night, rustle up tapas in the hunter-green kitchen whilst listening to music on the Bluetooth speakers or get down to business at the separate workspace ideal for business travellers. And we can't forget about the sun-dappled balcony, which is an absolute gem – we think it's the perfect spot to savour a glass of sangria and watch the day slowly fade.

Location-wise, this flat is a bit further from the city centre but there's still plenty to write home about – trendy eateries, sprawling green spaces and an array of museums are within walking distance. When you crave a bit more pace, jump on the metro at Ríos Rosas (just a two-minute stroll) away – you'll be basking in the buzz of Puerta del Sol in ten minutes, flat.

Just a short stroll from Calle Pozano, this apartment transports you to the vibrant heart of Madrid. From tapas bars and cafes to Ríos Rosas Park, you’ll find everything you could need within walking distance – including great public transport links. This is also a sweet base for remote workers with dedicated desks and plenty of space across the open-plan living room and dining room. There is also a Smart TV and a vinyl record player – setting the tone for relaxing evenings at home.

Tucked away in the elegant Ríos Rosas neighbourhood, this pet-friendly studio is an excellent base for work trips. The cosy courtyard terrace has room to sit out and share an evening drink, while the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up whatever you're craving. The mezzanine-level bed makes the most of the limited space, though we recommend packing light here. We think this home's best feature is its location, central but within close proximity to the city's hotspots. You'll find a myriad of shops and restaurants within walking distance, while buses and the Metro line are nearby for easy exploration.

Spring in Madrid

Ultra-chic and well-located, this Ríos Rosas apartment opens its doors to the magic of Madrid. From here, you can stroll to Calle Ponzano where you’ll find an array of bars and restaurants. There are also great transport links – ensuring smooth connections with the rest of Madrid. And when it comes to total relaxation, this home hits all the right notes. You can stretch out across the open-plan living room or switch off in the bedrooms. There are also two dedicated desks and the main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom – perfect for those seeking a little extra privacy. 

Magic of the Moment

Blending jungle aesthetics with contemporary Spanish designs, this fabulous Madrid apartment invites guests to enjoy a comfortable stay amidst a wonderfully cosy setting. 

We love the abundant natural light that fills the space here, as amongst the leafy plants, earthy green feature walls and wooden furnishings, guests can be reminded of nature, despite its central city location. From the open-concept living and dining area, soak up street views of the city while perching in the snuggly window seat. There's also a desk space, perfect for those working from home during their stay or in town on business. 

However, we'd undoubtedly favour advising that you switch off, relax and restore your energy in between fun-filled days out exploring the sights of Madrid. Located in the sought-after Rio Rosas neighbourhood, you'll enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance of the city's attractions as well as many off-the-radar restaurants and independent shops from here.
