Sitting right across from the Catedral de la Encarnación with beautiful views of it from its Juliet balconies, you’d be forgiven for thinking this apartment was heaven-sent. Perfectly positioned to enjoy glasses of Spanish wine while people-watching from its privileged spot, the living area is awash with light and the ideal place to gather for celebratory meals when you’re not sampling the local food scene. Inside, the design is fresh and minimalist, with a pared-back colour scheme of blue and white used to striking effect. This practical apartment is located in the heart of Malaga's historic centre, just a stone's throw away from tourist hotspots such as Calle Larios, Plaza de la Constitución, and the Picasso and Thyssen Museums. While it’s not the most characterful pad in our collection, a sofa bed in the living area offers flexible sleeping arrangements, and the Juliet balcony in the main bedroom is a nice touch too. The kitchenette is a little basic for our liking, but given the home’s stellar spot, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars and shops nearby, offering a true taste of Malagan living.

This apartment can be found in the heart of the city, looking directly onto the Sagrado Corazon church. It’s stylish and quirky, with chic decor and some of the best views in town. Whether you’re cooking in the kitchen or taking a quick siesta, you’re surrounded by the view of church towers and picturesque rooftops. The crowning glory of this already wonderful penthouse is the terrace. A carefully landscaped space, this is where we’d be spending most of our time. You're bound to hear some city noise here, but with such a great address as this, we think it's a small price to pay.
