With accommodation spread over three floors, there's plenty of space here for a large group or extended family. Perfect for families, there's an enclosed garden with a lawn out back and a cinema room that doubles as a playroom in the loft. And that's far from all. Add in a hot tub in the garden, along with a trampoline, football goals and table tennis, and a games room in the house with both table football and a pool table, and we think you'll be spoilt for entertainment.

This Norman farmhouse has been impeccably renovated to create a private and contemporary oasis. The house is set on 1.7 acres of land, meaning you’ll have plenty of privacy. You're surrounded by beauty here –wander through the pretty landscaped gardens and head down one of the winding paths to admire the bucolic scenery.  

The large heated 14x4m pool means you can enjoy year-round fun, and there’s an outdoor shower to rinse off in before curling up on a deck chair. The kids will have endless fun running around in the gardens, playing ping pong, and making use of the two bikes. On rainy days they can retreat to the games room, where there’s plenty of board games. 

You are well placed to explore all the delights of the Pays d’Auge region – the village of Honfleur is a fifteen-minute drive away, with its picture-perfect harbour and expansive sandy beach. For the daily shop, there’s a small village near the house which is reachable on foot. On Tuesday mornings drive seven minutes to the farmers’ market in Beuzeville, where you can pick up some local produce and enjoy an alfresco lunch back at home.

However, it's the home's outdoor space and excellent location that really distinguishes it from competitors. Along with two other apartments in the building, guests share a pretty garden bordered by flowerbeds and this looks out to the town's beach, which sits just across the street.

As well as offering opportunities for watersports and relaxation, the beaches of Saint-Aubin-sur-Meris hold significance for the pivotal role that the region played during D-Day.
