We love the uninterrupted bucolic views from this contemporary home on the outskirts of Porto Vecchio. The location gives you the best of both worlds —you're within easy reach of Corsica’s answer to St. Tropez (it’s a 10-minute walk to the edge of town) but you can come home to relax in the quiet countryside. The big terrace has bags of space for everyone, and a barbecue to boot. Here you’ll find it easy to unwind after a busy day pounding the picturesque city streets, biking, hiking or just making the most of the island’s beautiful beaches. Inside, this modern apartment pops with a fun touch of 70s nostalgia. The giant statement circular mirror, splashes of burnt orange and wrap-around wooden panels ensure the living area is a focal point, although it's still very much a comfortable place to kick back — so stock up the fridge with wine and make yourself at home.

The apartment has two bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed and access to the large terrace, which offers stunning views of the mountains. The living room is well-furnished with a flat-screen TV and opens onto the terrace as well. The open kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and amenities, including an oven, dishwasher, and electric coffee machine. The apartment also includes air-conditioning and heating for maximum comfort throughout the year. Guests can enjoy reserved parking at the house during their stay. The location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions like Figari and Bonifacio, as well as beautiful lakes like Lac de l'Ospedale. A car is recommended to make the most of your stay.

Lounge by the pool surrounded by verdant trees and listen to the bird song when you stay at this villa in the hamlet Trinité de Porto-Vecchio. We adore the views over the Corsican countryside from the balcony (one of two). Have a game of boules, then fire up the barbecue for lunch or head to the modern kitchen and whip up some aziminu (Corsican bouillabaisse). There are more of those fabulous vistas from inside too. The open plan living space, with its wood floors, white-washed walls, and a log burner, is perfect for entertaining. This place is ideal for a family or group of friends.

This home is just 2 kilometres from the sea, 5 kilometres from Cala Rossa beach and 4 kilometres from Porto-Vecchio, with its narrow streets lined with shops, bars and restaurants.

Dating back to the times of the Roman Empire, Porto-Vecchio is as picturesque and charming as any town in the Mediterranean. This gorgeous apartment sits in a renovated 19th-century building in the heart of the Old Town and offers stunning views in every direction. Inside, cool off from the midday heat in the air-conditioned living space while enjoying the natural light and views across the town. Our favourite bit is the expansive roof terrace, the ideal place to gather for soaking up the Corsican sunshine. The well-shaded dining area has its own barbecue so you can sit down to eat alfresco at lunchtime. There’s also a relaxing chill-out area, with wicker furniture and beanbags overlooking the Mediterranean sea below. If you can tear yourself away from your home's many little luxuries, you're only a fifteen-minute walk from a sandy beach and the charming marina filled with bobbing yachts, while just outside your door, the Old Town offers up restaurants, bars and plenty of cultural attractions including the impressive Église St-Jean-Baptiste.

This large, modern villa is situated in Trinité de Porto-Vecchio, just 4 km from the centre of Porto-Vecchio and 2 km from the sea. The villa features a well-kept terraced garden, an angular heated swimming pool (seasonal availability: 01.May. - 01.Oct.), and a pool house with a fridge. There is also an outdoor shower, boules, and parking for up to three cars. The living/dining room is spacious and comfortable, with separate WC and access to two large balconies and a terrace with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The open kitchen is well-equipped with modern amenities. Both bedrooms are furnished with French beds (160 cm) and en-suite bathrooms with double hand-basins; one bedroom has a shower/WC while the other has a bath/WC. The villa also offers free WiFi and air-conditioning throughout. Please note that part of the house is closed and unoccupied, and a car is recommended due to the proximity of the main road.

On the edge of the Corsican countryside and not far from Porto Vecchio, this slick apartment is newly built. Its modernity is evident, with everything feeling spotless, while homey interiors add a cosy touch. The living space features double-height ceilings, with a couple of sofas and kitchenette playing second fiddle to the large wooden dining table, perfect for big-group dining. Bedrooms are equally as sharp and new; white walls are punctuated with seaside-inspired wall-hangings, and there are deep armchairs dotted around the home to curl up in with a good book. Given the spot's position on the top floor, the roof terrace is where we'd spend most of our time. Looking out over the mountains, this white-tiled space has geometric rugs, white wicker chairs, a grey sofa and dining furniture for a cool, beachy vibe, perfect for cracking open a bottle of wine and watching a serene sunset.

There’s plenty to keep you occupied – go for a dip in the bay, or top up your tan on the soft, powdery white sands of nearby Pinarellu Beach – we love that it’s just a few steps away. Just under a thirty-minute drive away is chic Porto-Vecchio, known as the Corsican St-Tropez, with its pretty old town’s streets lined with restaurants and designer boutiques – it’s perfect for a day out. After a busy day, head back to your dreamy retreat and put your feet up on the chaise sofa to plan the next day's adventures.
