It’s in a convenient setting for visiting Parc des Princes and Roland-Garros, and is just a few minutes from Billancourt metro station – from here, you can explore central Paris in no time. The apartment is bright and contemporary in style, with an open-plan design that lends itself perfectly to socialising. We especially love the suntrap balcony. Two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in bedroom two, which also serves as a home office.

You'll open the door to find a stunning home with curved, all-white walls, vast windows and tasteful furniture with a 1970s edge. And we have no doubt the first thing you'll want to do is slide the glass door open and step out to the balcony just to take it all in.

The windows overlook a tree-lined boulevard, and the light which floods this space is gently filtered by the greenery, creating flickering shadows and bright rays all over. 

You’ll also have an elegant dining table, perfect for those romantic candlelight suppers you can easily rustle up in the well-equipped kitchen. For a night of restful sleep head over to the comfy bedroom, with its soft bed and lovely artworks on the walls. You’ll wake up bright-eyed and restored, ready for another day of Parisian magic. 

Right outside your door, you’ll find a number of excellent local restaurants, including Suzanne on the square opposite. For tennis enthusiasts, an added bonus will no doubt be the proximity of Rolland Garros – a twenty-minute walk away from your apartment. When you're ready to explore the rest of the city, Metro Line 10 is just a nine-minute walk away at Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud.

This charming apartment in the 15th arrondissement really is the bee’s knees. Situated a short walk from the Porte de Versailles Exposition Centre, it boasts stunning city views, a stylish and lovingly curated décor and a dash of that magical something special that only Paris can offer.

Sitting in a central spot to the south of the Seine, we're sure that you'll be just as smitten with this bright apartment as we are. There's a simply huge amount of natural light from the windows and doors that line the living space and this shines rather nicely off the stark white walls, wooden floor and sleek kitchen surfaces.

While it may not have the Haussmanian period charm of other homes in the French capital, the furnishings and finishes are all contemporary – even a little minimalist so in places – and there are no parts that we can identify as needing some urgent love and attention. There's plenty of room to kick back and relax after some serious sightseeing, while the smartly designed kitchen is plenty big enough should you decide you need a night off the city's famous restaurants.

Whenever you choose to leave the home, you'll be immediately greeted by the building's plant-filled courtyard, which is a pleasing pocket of green in the heart of the metropolis. Beyond that, it's easy to stroll over to some well-known attractions, including the Luxembourg Gardens and Les Invalides.

On entering this accessible, ground-floor apartment, you'll be met by a calming palette of deep green, olive and coral in the open-plan kitchen diner. However, the traditional decor is interspersed with some unusual artwork. Located on the Left Bank, this apartment is within walking distance of the Hôtel des Invalides, with its museums and monuments. Other places of interest accessible on foot include the Eiffel Tower and the elegant Bon Marché, Paris's oldest department store. This area also has some grand architecture, and you don’t have to go anywhere to admire it – the French doors here offer great views. We love that the living and dining room is bathed in natural light. It’s also worth mentioning that if you’re a group of eight, two people will be sleeping here on a sofa bed. This apartment is a sound choice for friends and familes.

Staying here, you’ll be able to shop on the Champs-Elysées and enjoy the fresh air of the Bois de Boulogne. Victor Hugo metro station is a short walk away, making seeing further-afield attractions like Montmartre a breeze too – this home has a great location. The windows open up to create Juliet balconies, so you can let the sounds of the city drift into the large living area. In terms of location, a ten-minute stroll along the riverside sees you at the Eiffel Tower for an iconic Parisian view. Sticking close to home, you’ll find a litany of neighbourhood bistros serving fine French cuisine and cafés and bakeries for coffee and freshly bakes croissants every morning.

It’s a great choice for a couple that doesn’t mind being a little further removed from the centre of the city, as it’s located between Porte de Auteuil and Porte de Saint Cloud in the 16th arrondissement. When you do want to see the sights, you need only walk a few minutes to Exelmans metro. The apartment is simple but attractive, with plenty of space for two. 

La Tour Bleue

In Paris's 17th district, close to Neuilly-sur-Seine, this apartment is simple and comfortable. Children aren't permitted here so we think it's best suited to work trips, couples, or solo travellers. The balcony has space for standing out with a drink, and while it overlooks surrounding buildings so may not feel fully private, the central location means you'll never be far from the city sights. Nearby you'll find restaurants and hotspots like the Arc de Triomphe, as well as public transport for easily getting around.

It doesn’t get much more Parisian than your own view of the Seine. Both balconies take full advantage of the riverbank apartment, so you can take in the scenery whether you’re just hopping out of bed or enjoying an afternoon tipple. Though the home is quite basic, it’s a comfortable base to return to after hopping around Paris. Being close to the 16th arrondissement, it is a little further out from the city centre which might not suit those who prefer to be central. However, Boulogne-Billancourt is one of Paris’ main business hubs – a great location for corporate travellers.

Although the lack of a lift means some stairs are unavoidable, it makes up for it with subtle character and extensive amenities. A family bathroom with a stunning clawfoot bathtub is our favourite feature. It's also ideally located in the heart of the Eiffel Tower district – a lively hub of activity from which you'll be able to visit Paris' most iconic sight. A family of three or four looking for a home from home will find it provides comfortable spaces in a convenient and lively locale.

La Reine

A former craftsman's workshop, this home is now a fuss-free hideaway in the 15th arrondissement. The living area is bright and lofty, thanks to its high ceilings adorned with beams and crisp white colour scheme. Two guests will sleep on a double bed out here, making it a better fit for groups of six. Location-wise, you're only a short walk from the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Slightly further afield (about forty minutes on foot) is the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars. Also nearby is Boucicaut metro station, making exploring the rest of Paris a breeze.

It’s a duplex in a great location, just a short walk from Place du Trocadéro, with great transport links right on the doorstep. There’s a balcony that boasts views over the rooftops of Paris from the top-floor vantage point. We love how much space there is here, and how convenient a base it is – there are desks for those working during their stay, among other amenities to ensure your stay is a comfortable one. Some of the decor is a touch dated, but we think the layout and location of this home make it an excellent choice.
