There are two swimming pools – the smaller one is specifically designed to take advantage of the views – then there’s the pool house, summer kitchen and plenty of nooks to hide away and enjoy total relaxation. Inside, there’s a lift to take you up and down the three floors – making this a lovely option for guests with reduced mobility. It’s also just a short scenic stroll to local amenities, with the region’s most beautiful spots within easy driving distance.

Surrounded by lush greenery, this Provençal farmhouse will delight sun worshippers and wine lovers alike. The outdoor pool is the real centrepiece, but the garden boasts plenty of other spots for kicking back with a glass of rosé, including a shaded patio with an outdoor kitchen for a spot of alfresco cooking. The interior isn’t quite as striking with some rooms feeling a little dated. But the space has, nonetheless, retained plenty of traditional charm with its exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings, making it a nice backdrop for cosy evenings in. And location-wise, you’re just a short drive from some of Provence’s most beautiful villages, so you won’t have to venture far to get a taste of local culture – and viticulture.

Staying at this home is all about immersing yourself in the blissful tranquillity of the Provencal countryside. Set amidst a huge private parkland, this stone villa is a haven of peace – we love the outdoor areas, which offer infinite possibilities when it comes to alfresco dining, swimming in the pool and relaxing in the shade of the trees. The inside is all about classic French country style, with stone fireplaces, wooden beams and vintage furnishings. There are quite a few stairs to climb here, some rather steep, so it may not be the right choice for guests with reduced mobility.

Surrounded by a hectare of lavender fields, orchards and olive groves, you can experience Provence in miniature without leaving the grounds. The swimming pool terrace bursts with rose bushes and has a private Jacuzzi, while the wisteria-shaded dining areas are perfect for alfresco meals. Though it’s traditional on the outside, there’s a modern feel inside, with a glass wall by the dining table overlooking the gardens. Rooms are filled with sunlight, especially the provincial living room set around a cosy wood burner.

With sweeping views of the local vineyard and the mountains that surround this home, True Love offers a picturesque escape for up to eleven guests. Filled with character and historic charm, your hosts have done the utmost to restore the home to all of its former glory, but without missing any luxuries for the twenty-first-century traveller. Prepare delicious meals in the Provençal kitchen, dine in front of the striking fireplace, and relax on the soft sofas in the living area. Each bedroom has been beautifully and individually designed, some of which lead into the gardens. Cool off from the hot sun in the refreshing pool, dine in the shade of the pagoda or simply wander through the gardens and find a peaceful corner to yourself. However you decide to relax, True Love offers plenty of activities, but most of all it oozes serenity and calm.

This beautiful, single-level home consists of two separate parts, making it a great option for families and groups of friends who want their privacy. There are plenty of places for coming together and socialising too, with both indoor and outdoor dining, a large pool area and a lush garden. With a pétanque court and table tennis you’re sure to keep busy, although those sun loungers also promise afternoons of relaxing and soaking up the sun. Bear in mind that due to the home’s rather secluded location a car is highly recommended – it also means you’ll be able to explore the picturesque countryside around you.

While the luscious green surroundings do most of the talking, there are plenty of hidden amenities to have you reaching for the book instantly button, too. There’s a home cinema room, ping pong table and billiards table to enjoy, not to mention the south-facing alfresco dining room overlooking the vineyards. And while you’ll feel completely remote here, you’re only a twenty-minute walk from the hilltop town of Ménerbes, where you can pick up fresh bread and locally-produced wine.

Everything about this home is quintessentially Provençal – from the rustic stone walls, plum-hued shutters and wooden beams, to the solid wood furniture, muted textiles and hand-carved features inside. There’s an air of effortless relaxation, with a touch of artistic flair, throughout. Bright red walls, bottle-green tiles and vintage Boussiet prints in the kitchen will turn cooking into a vibrant adventure rather than a chore – prepare a baguette with lashings of butter and dollops of jam, head outside and devour it on the shaded and plant-surrounded patio. Then stretch out in the garden and soak up every last drop of the same sunlight that inspired Cézanne and Van Gogh, before cooling off in the pool (that’s at least sixteen shades of blue). When you’re ready to expend some energy, head out of your front door and into Luberon National Park where ancient cedars and ochre cliffs come straight from the pages of an Impressionist’s sketchbook. And if you need extra provisions, you’re a twenty minute walk from the gorgeous village of Ménerbes, where bistros and cafes await.

This lovely Provencal home stands on the edge of Luberon, in a peaceful spot. It’s an ideal choice for a large family gathering or friends wanting to unwind amid beautiful scenery. There’s something for everyone here, from petanque and ping pong to a private heated pool. The veranda is a great place for alfresco meals, while the gazebo, with its dreamy Luberon views, is the top spot for sunbathing.  The enclosed wooden garden even has a play area for kids.

Looking at it now, you probably can't imagine this stylish cottage had been a 19th-century sheepfold. The exposed beams, stonework and sloped ceilings still hint at it, but overall, it has transformed into a charming house set amongst vineyards, lavender and the forest. The rolling countryside is visible from the outdoor seating areas, including the alfresco dining table. Though two bedrooms feature mezzanine sleeping areas in addition to the downstairs double beds, it can comfortably sleep four each if everyone's willing to compromise on privacy. There's close to an acre garden for the kids to run around, but you can also keep them busy by visiting the surrounding towns, starting with Ménerbes.

Surrounded by trees and aromatic lavender with views across Ménerbes, it’s the perfect opportunity for a restorative getaway. The swimming pool can be heated (upon request), there are multiple chill-out areas and the rooms are basic yet cosy. It’s also the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside. The nearest amenities are just a short drive away in Ménerbes, while some of the most beautiful villages of the Luberon are also within easy reach.

With five acres of land, you’ll really feel like you’ve escaped to the country at this stone farmhouse in Provence. Surrounded by green, open space, the home boasts a pool, an outdoor lounge and an alfresco dining area. Located in the heart of the Luberon, there’s plenty to discover in the surrounding area. This beautiful village house is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday in the Luberon region of Provence. The property is located on a hillside on the edge of Gordes, one of France's classified 'Plus Beaux Villages'. The Provençal valley views from the terraced grounds are incredible.

The house has been decorated with refined style and there's an authentic ambience across its elegant lounge, dining room and perfectly equipped kitchen with doors sliding open to the al-fresco dining terrace. Modern additions include air-conditioning throughout, a Sonos music system and Smart TVs in its mezzanine lounge and two of the three bedrooms.

Sleeping up to six guests, the bedrooms are gorgeous, one with a king-size double bed, wood-beamed ceiling and romantic rolltop bath, another with a queen-size double, sofa and en suite shower room and the third en suite with twin beds and lovely views through its little windows. 

Outside, the vistas of Provence will take your breath away whether you are enjoying a glass of Luberon AOC wine on the upper terrace or peacefully reading on the outdoor sofa beneath the poolside pergola. The swimming pool is superb for warm summer days when you don't wish to venture too far. We love the rustic charm of the terraced grounds with old stone steps, pretty pathways and swathes of summer colour.

Situated in the lower part of the village, this former farmhouse is steeped in Provençal charm. From a pétanque playing area to breath-taking views over the Luberon, it has everything you need for a quintessential French escape, including easy access to the village’s historic centre and the Château de Lacoste. Despite being recently renovated, the interior feels dated in parts, but it’s still nice and cosy, with plenty of room to unwind as a group. And if you need some peace and quiet, the garden is full of hidden corners for kicking back and relaxing with a cheeky glass of wine.

A stay at this homespun villa in the Luberon Regional Nature Park is all about spending quality time with your loved ones in the sunshine. Hikers can hit the trails of Les Gorges de Véroncle, a short walk away. The walled garden is home to a summer kitchen for lazy lunches outside and the swimming pool awaits after a day’s exertion. Sleek and monochrome, the open living area and kitchen belies the traditional exterior. The ground-floor bedroom opens up to the poolside terrace and both upstairs rooms have sweeping countryside views.

Location wise, you’re close to the centre of Loumarin, often voted one of the most beautiful villages in France, where you’ll find cobbled streets, an array of cafes and restaurants, and a bustling, weekly market.

It’s all about the breathtaking Provencal views here – staying at this stone farmhouse will afford you the chance to immerse yourself in Vaucluse’s incredible vistas.
