And when it comes to rest and relaxation, this home has everything you could need. There’s a sweet garden with impressive views across the valley. Inside, there’s a cosy sitting room with a fire for laidback evenings. Plus, your host can help organise special extras like private chefs and massage treatments. 


Valley Meadow

This countryside haven is nestled in the Cotswold town of Minchinhampton. Made up of two side-by-side cottages, there's lots of room here for families and large groups. One well-behaved dog is allowed in one of the cottages for an additional fee, and your host can provide a free highchair and travel cot for little ones. All the bedrooms have their own en-suites, and while the ceiling is a bit low in one of them, there's plenty to make up for it. Outdoors, you'll find space for alfresco dining, along with a tennis court and a small stone gazebo on the expansive grounds, ideal for relaxing with a book.

The Old Village Mill

This welcoming 17th-century cottage strikes the perfect blend of rustic farmhouse charm and modern mid-century furnishings to create a stylish, light-filled home with plenty of Cotswolds character. Indulge in the comforts of the house - sinking back into a comfy armchair and finding your new favourite book from the home's collection. Listen to tunes on the vintage-style radio in the living room, benefitting with low beam ceilings, a wood-burning stove and plenty of natural wooden furnishings that makes for a cosy, calming ambience. Working from home or practising your prose? There's a dedicated office space, ideal for powering through stubborn workloads - and while your other half gets their head down, spoil yourself with a soak in the wood-fired Dutch tub. From the sumptuous bed to the roll-top bath, the underfloor heating to the sprawling magical garden, the cottage has warmth and spirit in abundance. Speaking of, the gardens are just as impressive, with the ultimate tipi and barbecue ready for an evening glamped-out under the stars. Rise and shine with a spin around super-scenic Far Oakridge - making use of the bicycles provided - before returning home for a delightful brunch courtesy of the good-willed welcome basket, filled with seasonal wine, chutneys, cheese, biscuits and jams. Lovingly thought-out, you'll be well looked after at this idyllic home, far from the madding crowd. 

The Little House

If you’re in search of an easygoing Cotswolds getaway, this home makes a great option. You’ll find it’s just a short drive or bus ride into the heart of Gloucester city centre, while Cheltenham is also within easy reach. There is a large private garden and the open-plan living room and kitchen lends itself perfectly to social gatherings. It’s worth noting this home isn’t suitable for infants or children, but we think it makes a great spot for a refreshing adults-only escape. 


Sun Whisper

Once upon a time, this quaint cottage was actually a barn used to store grain. Since then, it has been lovingly renovated into a dainty holiday home perfect for a small family getaway. Situated on the owners' farm on the outskirts of Cheltenham and close to the village of Shurdington, it's right on the edge of the Cotswolds. The velvet sofas and original wooden beams create a cosy atmosphere which is enhanced when you light up the wood-burning stove on chilly evenings. There's also a private garden where you can grill up a feast to share at the alfresco dining area. Exploring the surrounding countryside is easy from here, whether you're planning to travel on foot, by car, on a bike or even by horseback – that's right, for an additional fee, you can rent a neighbouring stable for your steed. Cheltenham Racecourse is just six miles away, while the charming towns of Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury are both less than a twenty-mile drive from your front door. 

The Village Farmhouse

Once a coach house to the manor next door, this Grade II listed retreat is now a peaceful place to pause. Tucked among the trees and hidden from view, it offers a quiet escape with just the faintest glimpse of the valley beyond. Inside, the open-plan layout is calm and inviting, with soft tones, rustic textures and a round window that draws your eye outside. Spend mornings walking the Laurie Lee trail, afternoons exploring Stroud’s market stalls, and evenings in the bath or by the window seat, watching the light change. 

The Coachman's Loft

Nestled into the charming village of Painswick, this Edwardian family home welcomes up to four guests to spend a few relaxing days exploring the beautiful Cotswolds. Recently renovated to ensure guests have a comfortable stay, there is a lavish clawfoot tub, a cosy fireplace, a sleek kitchen and a well-maintained garden with plenty of outdoor seating, so you can sip your morning coffee outside while taking in your lush surroundings. Host Sean goes out of his way to provide a spectacular array of breakfast items, including cereals, bread and croissants, hot drinks, eggs, and jams. The home is located just off of the Cotswold Way, and it's an ideal home base for keen walkers and hikers. If you'd rather do some sightseeing, the sixteenth-century Rococo Garden is just a short walk away and is sure to delight the whole family. 

Woodview

Perfectly positioned between the market towns of Stroud and Cirencester, this charming two-bedroom cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds. Nestled in the quiet, cultured village of Chalford, the home spans two floors but is unusually flipped, with both bedrooms found on the ground floor and sharing an adjoining door. The upstairs living room, dining area and kitchen all come well equipped and thoughtfully furnished, while guests are free to wander the expansive grounds and fully appreciate the peaceful woodland setting.
