Cosy and smartly furnished, the living room's feature fireplace has a log burner for warming up on winter evenings and leads through to a stylish dining space with log storage built into the wall. Bedrooms are classic country style and we particularly love the freestanding bathtub in the main bathroom and the pretty bedroom on the top floor. The house shares a rear courtyard with some neighbouring properties but a large, private garden lies across the lane to the front.

Dating back to the 1880s, this former barn now provides a beautiful countryside cottage experience for families exploring The Cotswolds. Though it's since undergone renovations, it takes pride in the stone floors, exposed walls and beams, adding character and charm to the space, even if the sloped ceilings mean taller guests have to watch their heads. At least there's no ducking outside where an expansive garden gives you more than enough space. You can't grow bored here, either – the home provides access to the spa facilities in the nearby holiday park, along with its pools. There is also a wide selection of other recreational activities available for a fee – from bike rentals to paddle boarding.
