The bay window offers sweeping sea panoramas, including a glimpse of France in the distance. It's not the most modern home – the communal hallway is especially dated – but it works well for families keen to be seconds from the sea.

When you feel like exploring the area, the market town of Hythe with its shops, restaurants and wonderful beaches is 6 miles away.
