This charming villa is made up of a trullo and a lamia made from local stone – staying here, you get a taste of authentic southern Italian living. It’s just 4 kilometres from the town centre of Castellana Grotte, and 15 kilometres from iconic Alberobello. It’s in a great position for exploring Puglia, though we’d recommend bringing a car to do so. The home is traditional and inviting. We love the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, which can be enjoyed from the terrace. Outside, you’ll find a private pool in addition to a fantastic alfresco dining area – there’s a pizza oven and barbecue to cook on.

We love the pool surrounded by daybeds and a pergola-shaded dining area (there’s a vineyard within the grounds as well). Inside, there’s plenty of room for entertaining. All bedrooms are en-suite and four have access to a private terrace (at full occupancy some guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in two of the bedrooms). Also, one bedroom is in a separate building on the roof terrace, perfect for those wanting more privacy. You may not want to leave this oasis of calm and luxury, but if you do, you’ll find the charming town of Polignano a Mare, 6 kilometres away.
