Completely overhauled in 2021, your hosts have paid close attention to every detail to create an island escape that speaks to the soul. Hand-picked artwork, a well-equipped compact kitchen and two king-size en-suite bedrooms make this an ideal option for a family break, or a getaway with friends.

However, it's the outdoor terrace that steals the limelight. Shared between the apartment's two suites, there's more than enough space for everyone to spread out and claim a corner for themselves. With outdoor dining space, sun loungers and parasols, the scene is set for relaxing alfresco breakfasts, lazy days soaking up some sun, and romantic evening meals with the harbour lights twinkling away below.

Capri Town is only accessible on foot, with plenty of upmarket boutiques and mouthwatering restaurants within a short stroll. For an entirely different perspective on island life, we'd recommend taking to the water for a gentle cruise along its coast, passing secluded coves and the yawning mouths of sea caves.

This stunning villa is located in the heart of Capri, just a short walk from the famous Capri Piazzetta. The villa boasts panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples, Sorrento, and Punta Campanella. The grand terrace features quintessentially Caprese columns, olive trees, and a remarkable spot for lounging and alfresco dining – we spent all of our time outside. There’s even a petite outdoor kitchen. Inside, there’s a huge amount of space – the three suites each have a separate lounge area, which makes this a great choice for couples and families seeking a touch more privacy while still travelling as a group.

There’s also a shaded terrace for alfresco dining and relaxation. Inside, the villa is modern and attractive, with arched windows showcasing the sea views.

Some guests will be in the main villa while others will be sleeping in separate guest houses, which is an excellent option for those seeking a touch more privacy.

This apartment is a real gem. It's well-placed to explore Capri's landmarks – the Gardens of Augustus and Krupp Street are both easily reached on foot – and you'll find plenty of restaurants and boutiques nearby, too. It's on the smaller side, but it's a great size for two and the artwork is quintessentially Italian. The bedroom is on the mezzanine, so there's a separate space to snuggle up after sightseeing, but the kitchenette is compact so dining out might be a good idea. For a romantic trip to one of Italy's most famous islands, this is an excellent choice.

Although it's dated in terms of decor, we love the location of this home –  it's minutes away from the small but fashionable Piazzetta and boasts wonderful views across the Tyrrhenian Sea. Evenings spent dining on the private terrace go some way towards making up for the basic interiors of this property. Like a lot of places on this island, it can only be reached via a long flight of stairs – so may not be suitable for individuals with reduced mobility. We also strongly suggest booking a porter service in advance, to help carry your luggage to and from the villa.

In the heart of Capri, this villa is a mere three-minute walk from the town’s Piazzetta and the funicular for a stunning view of the islands. While the interior feels grandly old-world with tiled floors keeping things naturally cool, it’s the outside space that is the real highlight. Sure, you’ll need to climb the spiral staircase to reach the rooftop terrace, but the vistas are worth it. Fancy a splash in the sea? There’s direct access here – just take the stairs down 200 metres. Ideal for extended families or a group of friends, the separate annexe also affords two guests a little extra privacy. Massa Lubrense is only two kilometres away when you fancy some Italian cuisine, and well worth a visit.

This Mediterranean-style villa offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples and Capri Island. It’s surrounded by lush gardens including lemon and olive groves, and is a stunning spot for relaxing. The home is spread between the main villa and an apartment with a separate entrance, which is ideal for a small family seeking more privacy – though two of these guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room. But for a relaxing coastal break in such a pretty setting, we can forgive that.

There's realistically only one thing we can start with when talking about this home and that's the gorgeous view of the Gulf of Naples that lies out of the main living area's huge window. Thankfully, these French doors open wide and the balcony lets you take in the coastal panorama with the sunlight on your skin. If you're still in need of another vantage point, guests also get access to a communal roof terrace with some seating on which to clink glasses while the sun sets in the background.

Right, enough about the scenery, because the apartment itself deserves some praise. There's an elegant simplicity to the design, with the whitewashed walls working well with the ample amounts of natural light, plus a minimalist kitchen ready and waiting for Italian feasts. We also like the ceramics collection arranged in alcoves in the hallways, which pay homage to the region's culture and heritage in chic fashion.

As you can tell by looking out the window, you don't have to venture far to find the beach – as a matter of fact, Spiaggia di San Montano is only 200 metres away. There are a few bars and restaurants in the local area, but for a wider choice along with some magnificent historic architecture, Sorrento is just a short drive away up the coastline.

A stunning traditional villa perched on a hill, this is the kind of holiday home you’ll remember for years to come. The villa can be found in San Montano, just 4 kilometres from Sorrento. A former fishing village, this charming locale is now known for its lemon trees – it’s an idyllic setting for a memorable family holiday. 

Wake up to warm Sorrento sunshine streaming onto your pillow, and step straight outside onto the terrace. Drink in the glorious views of the coast and the island of Capri, which serves as a stunning backdrop. Your days here can be spent revelling in the sunny weather, dozing beneath a blue sky, and dining alfresco. Children will love the play area, while grown-ups will enjoy sipping Italian wine on the terrace as the sun is setting. 

When the sun is scorching, you need only stroll down the staircase to reach the beach. Paddle in the shallows, search for seashells and admire the boats sailing by in the distance. However you spend your time here, you’ll be thrilled to have such a pretty place to call home.

It’s an old farmhouse that’s been converted into a beautiful holiday home, equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing break. The villa looks out over the Gulf of Naples, Capri Island and the Mediterranean Sea – the views are breathtaking, particularly at sunset. We also love the gardens, which add to the sense of tranquillity.

The interiors are a little basic for our liking, but it's modern and there's a dedicated workspace. Plus, the freestanding tub is the perfect place to relax after busy days spent travelling.

With far-reaching views of the Bay of Nerano and the Amalfi Coast, it’s not hard to see why this home made it into our collection. Spread across three levels, there’s plenty of space for a large family or group of friends to spread out and enjoy some private time here. That said, with the multitude of sun-drenched terraces and cosy alfresco dining spots, we’re sure the outdoor space will be a hit with all. Locally, Nerano Bay is a short walk away if you fancy a splash in the sea, and the nearby town of Massa Lubrense is well worth a visit for some authentic cuisine.

If you’ve ever dreamt of waking up in your own museum, this is the place for you. Home to the King of Naples in the early 19th century, this breathtaking villa is steeped in history, boasting a whole host of traditional design features that are sure to delight even the most discerning guest. From vaulted ceilings to marble plinths and mosaic floors, this place has surprises around every corner, and we wouldn’t blame you for wanting to soak them all up. 

It's not style over substance here though – with tonnes of amenities at your disposal, there’s plenty to keep you occupied on days you don’t feel like venturing out. Slather on some suncream and go for a dip in the private pool, get a couple of new recipes under your belt with an in-home cooking class, or indulge in a solo yoga session in the fresh air.
