Nestled within a lemon orchard, this stunning villa is practically hanging off the side of the Amalfi Coast. On the villa’s stepped terraces, the citrus scent of fresh lemons combines with sea salt as you enjoy uninterrupted views over the azure Tyrrhenian Sea. Walkways shaded by twisting grapevines, magenta bougainvillaea and wisteria bursting in purple clouds give way to panoramic views. You’ll find endless secluded spots for dining outdoors, or lounging in the sun. Inside, we were really taken by the hand-painted tiles in every room, bursting with blues, yellows and greens, and the hand-painted details like the decal in the shower, that feel distinctly Amalfi. Rather than facing the TV, the living room’s sofa points directly at the French windows and that incredible sea view and both main bedrooms have their own French windows for a view all to yourself. From the villa, it’s a short walk to the beach at the bottom of Maiori. Here, you can join the coastal walking path that links all the quintessentially Amalfi Coast villages. Or, head out in the car to the town of Amalfi, a fifteen-minute drive away.

A five-minute stroll from the sands of Acqua Chiara, this villa centres around outdoor living with its uninterrupted sea views and multi-level terraces. While there are about ninety steps from the parking area to this home, and a couple of the bedrooms are dark, it's a small price to pay for the plunge pool, hot tub, and leafy seating spots. Maiori sits within walking distance, boasting beachside restaurants, bars, and a port-facing gelateria. Hiking opportunities and scenic drives await along the Amalfi Coast.

Now, this is what we call a view. Perched above the Gulf of Salerno, this villa offers breathtaking scenery everywhere you look. Our favourite spot is the terrace, where a glass of wine complements the panoramas perfectly. There's also a private Jacuzzi that makes soaking under the stars a real treat. The interior design is simple but chic, though the main bedroom doesn't feel particularly private. And, while the kitchen is on the smaller side, you'll only be a five-minute walk from the eateries in Amalfi. That's pretty hard to beat.

With stunning views of the Amalfi Coast, a private hot tub, and a small beach with crystal-clear waters just a five-minute walk away, this Italian villa has lots to shout about. While the living space inside isn’t huge, you’ll no doubt spend most of your time outside, taking advantage of those blue vistas. And when the sun goes down, the view is just as impressive, with the lights of the coastal towns reflecting in the water. Because of its cliffside setting, you need to climb eighty-seven steps to access the home and a hundred and sixty steps to reach the beach, so it won’t be the best option for anyone with limited mobility. Location-wise, you’re less than a kilometre from Maiori, which boasts the biggest stretch of sand on the Amalfi Coast.

There's a reason the Amalfi Coast is a hotspot among holidaymakers. The fifty-kilometre long stretch of shimmering beaches and technicolour villages looks straight out of a fairytale, with a balmy climate and delicious cuisine to solidify its appeal. In this colourful apartment, you'll be right in the thick of it. 

Located in a typical Italian building, the characterful home is of traditional style, with tiled flooring from the Vietri Ceramics School, while antique furniture and vintage artwork will transport you to the simpler times of this historical town. From your bedroom balconies, take in far-reaching views of neighbouring rooftops, rugged cliff faces and the landmark Duomo – you can reach this medieval cathedral in just three minutes on foot.

While you're out and about, wind your way towards the Ruga Nova Mercatorum, a narrow street is lined with top-tier pizzerias and eclectic boutiques. Get your eating and shopping fix before heading down to the shoreline, where you can while away the remainder of the day on the beach or take a ferry to nearby Sorrento.

This gorgeous villa is perched on the top floor of a 450-year-old mill. The mill has been carefully renovated over the years, but the home still packs in an impressive level of historic charm.

You’ll start to fall in love with this ivy-clad beauty as soon as you approach. It’s situated on the coastal road that connects Ravello and Amalfi, benefitting from the beautiful beaches of Amalfi and the artistic vibe of Ravello. It takes nine minutes to drive into Ravello, where you’ll find the lush terraced gardens the town is known for. The drive to Amalfi takes eleven minutes, so you can be sipping a chilled glass of wine while taking in the coastal view in no time. 

The main focal point of the villa is the huge terrace. Two of the three bedrooms lead directly onto it, so you might wake up to sunshine on your pillow. The terrace looks out over the rugged landscape, in a fantastical setting. Lying out on the sun loungers, you’ll feel a million miles away from your normal life. 

After breakfast on the terrace and a morning spent soaking up the sun, why not drive eight minutes to the beach at Atrani? Splash in the cool, clear sea before grabbing lunch at a nearby trattoria.

The views over the Amalfi Coast from this home’s infinity pool and whirlpool are incredible. There are a variety of terraces for relaxing and alfresco dining, while inside this place, dating from the 15th century, there’s a traditional feel with beams and handmade tiles. There's an open fire in the living room for cooler evenings and all of the bedrooms are en-suite (two also have a private terrace). Situated in the oldest part of Amalfi, it’s just a short walk down the steps to the centre of the town or you can take one of two public lifts.

With bedrooms overlooking Belvedere, this central apartment is only 100m from Duomo di Ravello and Villa Rufolo. Close enough to sights, bars and restaurants, it's made for those wanting to soak up all Italy has to offer. Though looking at the terrace, it's also made for sun worshippers. Dine alfresco and hot tub in a Mediterranean summer haze with a view of the Gardens of the Princess of Piedmont. Because of how traditional the home is, the rustic decor might not be to everyone's taste, but it is comfortable.

And if the sight of the sea tempts you, the good news is the nearest sandy beach is a mere 300 metres away.

For a couple on a romantic getaway, this charming apartment offers a dream love nest, with sweeping views over the magnificent scenery of the Amalfi Coast. While it is located in the heart of Praiano, it also benefits from being removed from the hustle and bustle, giving you a chance to relax and enjoy peace and tranquillity, away from the tourist trails. 

Come back after a day of exploring and unwind in the luxurious hot tub out on the large terrace. From here, you’ll be able to admire the sea and mountains before you, and as the sun begins to set, it truly is a magnificent spot to be. Roll out of bed each morning feeling refreshed and step out onto your balcony, where you'll be met with spectacular sea views. Share a breakfast of ricotta pancakes with your loved ones and plan an outing around this dining table, then head out on the Amalfi Coast. Found in the west of Praiano where it lies about twenty minutes away from the bright orange umbrellas of One Fire Beach, this villa has a magnificent view out over the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Climb the steps up towards the villa and find a modern and comfortable home that boasts plenty of natural light, a crisp colour palette, and a beautiful collection of carefully selected tiles for a bit of a colour pop. There’s also a boho feel thanks to the warm, woody furniture and ample windows that keep that connection to the outdoors firmly in place. 

Go from your bedroom into the garden in moments as you escape through the doors – if you’re on the first floor, you’ll have an entire balcony to yourself and we recommend waking up before dawn, at least once, so you can watch the sunset from up there. Spend as much time as possible outdoors, swimming in the private pool, sunbathing in the sunloungers and enjoying snacks and drinks as you admire the view. 

When you’re not taking sunny days easy at home, you can spend them at any one of the beaches you’ll come across as you explore the coast, or find a tucked-away restaurant in Praiano.

Located only 3 kilometres from Amalfi town and around 800 metres from Il Duoglio Beach, this villa suits a family or group of friends seeking a sun-soaked holiday. The outside space was our favourite feature – we couldn’t get enough of the Tyrrhenian Sea views from the hot tub and the seating area. Inside, two bedrooms boast balcony access, and the third has its own terrace. Just so you know, you’ll need to descend 90 steps to reach the home.

This villa is located just 300m from the bustling centre of Amalfi town and offers plenty of breathtaking sea views from its hilltop perch. A car is not essential here either – guests can explore the area on foot (this means climbing 300 steps down to the main piazza) or take the public lift. The villa features a bright living room decorated in a distinctive Amalfi coast style and a modern kitchen with all the necessary appliances. The sleeping area consists of three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, while the fourth suite has its own living room – ideal for solo moments. Outside, the villa boasts two terraces and an outdoor dining room – the perfect for your complimentary continental breakfast each morning. Meanwhile, a private Jacuzzi tub invites you to unwind and soak up the stunning views.

With an absolutely breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, this ancient villa couldn’t really be more of a complete package if it tried. Not only does waking up to the panoramic horizon inspire a great sense of relaxation, but the villa itself is pretty with its curving arches and many textures. 

Given its age, the home has seen its share of modernisation, but it has always been done in the most loving and sympathetic way to retain the original charm, and that character is certainly still visible. Picture yourself tucked away on the sofa with a good book, or at the dining table – with the doors flung open – as you catch up on the news with your morning cuppa. 

The only thing better than unwinding inside the home would be doing so outside. With plenty of space to sit, or sprawl out on the sunloungers, if you’d like, you can make yourself comfortable as you admire the glittering blue on the horizon. This villa caught our eye for its impressive cliffside location, overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Built on three levels, there’s an independent tower on the roof terrace that houses two of the bedrooms, a bathroom and a private balcony. While the tower is more simply furnished than the main house, it gives those staying there privacy. Breakfast is included here for your entire stay, so you can enjoy a leisurely start to the day before relaxing by the pool or sightseeing. And with the popular towns of Positano and Amalfi within easy driving distance, there’s lots to see and do.

When you return, soothe your muscles with a dip in the hot tub. A stay on the Amalfi Coast wouldn’t be complete without a view, and this one won’t disappoint. Sitting on the edge of Praiano’s cliffs, you can enjoy the vistas from every vantage point. It’s not surprising that with a cliffside location, you’ll need to climb some steps – there are 160 between the parking area and 240 down to the sea.
