Location-wise, you're in the heart of Sorrento, just a short walk from the beach. You'll also be within easy reach of the port, with restaurants and bars on your doorstep – handy, as this pad doesn't come with a kitchen. The interiors are a little basic for our liking, but it's modern and there's a dedicated workspace. Plus, the freestanding tub is the perfect place to relax after busy days spent travelling.

We absolutely love the tiled splashback in the kitchen, and the vibrant feature wall in the bedroom – both give the home so much character.

You can start sunny mornings out on your balcony, soaking in views of the sea while you sip on your morning coffee. Come in to cook up some delicious Italian scrambled eggs, and eat together at your kitchen dining table. Head out to explore the restaurants and bars in the town, as well as the stunning beaches located just a short stroll away. When you return, cuddle up in your big cosy bed and get ready to do it all again the next day.

The nearest beach is a ten-minute walk away, while the close proximity to the bus and train station means it's easy to explore further afield. Back at home, you can watch the sun set while sipping drinks on the terrace. Both bedrooms have balcony access, while the main bedroom features an en-suite bathroom – adding a wonderful sense of privacy.

With a full house, two guests will be on the sofa bed, and the only bathroom is the ensuite. But for families or a couple, the apartment is the perfect Sorrentine base. When it's time to explore, you'll find the coastal towns of Massa Lubrense and Sorrento a short drive away. And when you want to stay closer to home, you'll find plenty of eateries within walking distance.

Compact yet bright and modern, this apartment suits a solo traveller, couple or small family seeking a peaceful stay a twenty-minute drive from Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. While the home is equipped with a kitchen, you won’t find an oven, only a hob. Fortunately, eateries are within walking distance if you fancy a feast. As the mezzanine bedroom is semi-open to the space below, we think the sofa bed is better suited for children if you stay as a group of four. If exploring is on the agenda, take the short car ride over to Sorrento for a wander around the charming cobbled streets and a gelato in the Villa Comunale di Sorrento. Should you fancy a day at the beach, Spiaggia La Marinella, with its clear Tyrrhenian waters, is within walking distance of your doorstep.
