The table by the glass double doors offers a coastal panorama for long, leisurely breakfasts and the nautical theme of the decor is a reminder of your oceanfront location. The entire living area is open, thanks to an archway at the centre, making the kitchen, living and dining areas feel spacious and breezy. Bedrooms, with their splashes of artwork on the walls and cute wooden-shuttered windows, are a delight to retire to come bedtime.

Curious kittens might pop by when you're sunbathing, which could be a dealbreaker for those with severe allergies. There's a beach nearby, plus Marsala boasts ancient sights and a buzzing nature reserve.

A seven–minute walk takes you to the golden sands for a day trip by the sea, followed by wandering through the streets of San Vito to discover local hidden gems and some delicious eateries.

We think a car is necessary here to explore the island and reach the nearby town of Battaglia, as well as the coast.

Located in the pretty coastal town of Marsala, this stylish villa is ideally situated for exploring all of the sandy beaches, ancient ruins and wineries of Sicily's west coast. Boasting a gorgeous garden, you couldn't ask for a better spot to soak up the Sicilian sunshine. Start your days with a refreshing swim in the private pool, then make yourself a coffee and enjoy the shade of the patio for a while. If you fancy a chill day at home, you have plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas and comfy sofas to relax on. 

We highly recommend you take some time to explore the local area, too. The centre of Marsala is full of great wine bars and restaurants, making it perfect for a bite to eat and a relaxing afternoon sampling some of the local produce. There are also some beautiful beaches here, meaning you have the best of both worlds on your doorstep. 

When you get home, it's time to get creative on the barbecue and try recreating some of your favourite Italian dishes. Dine alfresco beneath the pergola then unwind with a few games of table tennis in the garden.
