Thanks to the double-height windows in the living area, you can even admire the landscape from the comfort of the sofa inside, too. This architectural feature also has the added benefit of flooding the living quarters with natural light and this dances rather nicely off the shiny tiled floor. It must be said that there's an elegant sophistication to all of the furnishings and finishes, particularly the glossy bathroom and equally smart kitchen.

When you want to see a little more of the local area, you can start by heading down the stone staircase that runs alongside the home and jumping off the swimming platform into the sea. It's also possible to join the Lycian Way walking route and perhaps spot dolphins or turtles in this secluded inlet. The harbour town of Kaş is only a short drive up the coastline whenever you need restaurants or a spot of nightlife.

To put it simply, this home is stunning. It’s perched on top of a hill just a short walk from downtown Kalkan, and boasts mesmerising views of the Mediterranean Sea and nearby islands. The glittering blue seascape can be enjoyed from almost every angle of this magnificent villa. 

As you approach the villa and take in the view, you’ll smell the flowers in the garden. The land is also home to countless palm, banana, grape and olive trees, all vying for attention in the pretty setting. The heated infinity pool stretches out towards the sea, and is where we’d be spending most of our time. After an early-morning dip, you might lie out in the sun for an hour or two, before moving into the shade of the outdoor lounge.
