Made of ancient silver logs, this home emerges from between the quiet trees of the forest landscape as if it’s always stood there. In a peaceful part of the area close to the Swedish border, it’s in a great position for exploring the quieter town of Yllasjarvi, or the livelier resort of Iso-Ylläs. This cabin is ideal for a group of friends or families holidaying together. It’s all functional comfort and welcoming warmth, the multiple fireplaces adding extra snugness in the social spaces. There’s even a fireplace on the all-wood veranda outside. The cabin is dotted with little luxuries too. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and there’s a ski waxing room to ensure smooth gliding along the cross country trails in the area. It’s the private sauna that really tops it off for us.
