We love the outside space here, whether it’s the sunny private swimming pool and the sun loungers alongside it, or the balconies. You can prepare your breakfast and morning coffee and take it outside to enjoy in the sunshine, all the while drinking in those marvellous views. You can always find a spot in the shade too, ideal for the afternoon when the Italian sun is beating down on the tiles.

Inside, you can enjoy the view from the living rooms and kitchens too. Windows are a big part of the traditional decor here, so if you need to take a break from the sun you won’t miss out. The bedrooms are elegant and pretty, with something to love about each room. Will you go for the four-poster bed and make the most of having your own piano? Or might you prefer to have a sofa to read on in the mornings? There’s so much charm in this delightful home.

It's small, but it works well for sundowners – and you'll even have a slight view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius.

Inside, whitewashed walls and a medley of blue hues create a calming atmosphere. While there is no kitchen here, you’re within walking distance of a number of eateries, so you’ll certainly never go hungry. 

When you’re ready to explore, take the short drive over to Sorrento for its winding narrow streets, tempting gelato bars, quaint souvenir shops and seafront drinking establishments serving zesty snifters of limoncello. If a dip in the Tyrrhenian is in order, head to Peter’s Beach or stay closer to home and visit Spiaggia La Marinella – it’s only a short walk from your building.

There's no doubt it's stylish, but it's also packed with modern amenities that make your stay a dream, from rainfall showers to a kitchen where you'll love rustling up Italian feasts. We adore the quirky touches here, too – our favourite is the stone wall in the shower, which uses the rocky facade of the mountain. 

Did we mention the two sun-kissed balconies? Both offer excellent spots to breathe in the coastal breezes and bask in Sorrento's good weather. Whether you're dining alfresco under the shady parasol or sharing a bottle of Italian wine on the outdoor sofas, this is the place to sit back, relax and fall in love with Sorrento.

Location-wise, you can't do much better. Beaches, eateries and shops are all just steps away. Take a stroll along the postcard-pretty marina in the mornings, followed by lunch at a waterfront restaurant. Do some sightseeing in the historic centre in the afternoons, including a wander around Piazza Tasso and a stop off at the Cattedrale dei Santi Filippo e Giacomo. You're also about an hour or so drive from Naples and Pompeii – perfect for day trips.

This minimalist flat in Sorrento is ideal for a couple or young family looking for somewhere quiet to return to after a day on the coast. You'll be exploring the many great dining options in town as there's no kitchen or dining table here, though the small terrace is ideal for a post-dinner nightcap. It's a studio, so there's not much privacy if you're travelling with a third guest – especially as the bathtub is in the living area. While it's not the most inspiring of locations, you're not too far out from the centre of Sorrento, and you're well-positioned to explore the rest of the peninsula.

This rustic apartment, situated in the heart of Sorrento, is a delightful place to relax after a day of sightseeing along the Amalfi coast. The villa is modern and stylish, with heaps of space. You can spend time together as a group, but also slip away for a quiet moment here. The home gym means you needn’t miss out on workouts, and the elegant spa-like bathtub means you can relax just as easily. 

Best of all, the outside space is wonderful. The terrace has an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue with glorious views. If you’re anything like us, you’ll want to spend all your time out here. When you’re not cooking or dining, you can stretch out on a sofa and drink in the view as you top up your tan. Children will love the free-standing swimming pool, too. 

It takes around ten minutes to stroll to Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, where you can shop and dine out. Slightly further afield but still within easy reach is Massa Lubrense, a pretty town known for its pastel-coloured houses perched on cliffs. Stroll around the harbour to admire the boats while tucking into gelato. Sorrento and all of its beauty and style are a twenty-minute drive away. There’s something for everyone here.
