This home is closer to an aparthotel than a characterful private residence, but that does come with its perks, like daily cleaning and breakfast, which are included in your stay.

You're close to almost everything – stroll three minutes and visit the blue-tiled Igreja de Santo Ildefonso, wander ten to reach Avenida dos Aliados or head down to the riverfront and walk along the Ribeira, thirteen minutes away.

The apartment itself is as cosy as can be. We're swooning over the period features – traditional shuttered windows, high ceilings and crown moulding are just a few of our favourite details. A quaint Juliet balcony overlooks the hustle and bustle below – the perfect spot for a morning coffee – while the comfy sofa beckons after a long day on your feet. If you need to work from home, you can even set up shop at the dining table as the sunlight streams into the living area.
